My doctor suggested I try Claritin D Allergy Medicine after several sinus infections during Spring and Fall in North Carolina. We have a large amount of pollen! I purchased this product for over $20 and that was WITH a coupon!! I have found very little relief from  using the product. I also found that...

I use Claritin D in the spring and fall to help combat my allergy symptoms. I've been using it for years and haven't found anything that works as well. The only drawback is that you have to go to the pharmacy counter (at least in Michigan you do) and provide your driver's license to get it because it has Sudafed in it. There's also a limit of how much you can buy in a month. But that really doesn't have anything to do with the effectiveness of the product at all. I don't mind going to the pharmacy for something I know will make me feel better.

Claritin OTC is like Claritin the prescription version - it works well for mild allergy sufferers, but barely makes a dent in symptoms for people with servere symptoms. I've tried it 3 different times for at least 8 weeks each time, and walked around in a fog -sneezing and dripping -the entire time.  Also, "Non-drowsy" doesn't mean "no side effects"; it just means that the you're unlikely to fall asleep at the wheel or while operating heavy machinery.  If you have a real job that requires alert, concious thought (and no sneezing!) don't waste your money.

I've been using Claritin-D for my allergies for 3 years and it's wonderful.  It makes me get through the day without making me drowsy.  It's wonderful.  I recommend it to any person that allergies! I've tried other allergy medicine and they just don't work as well.  Being that I'm allergic to purfumes and cleaning supplies at resturants, I have to take this medication any time I want to go out.  It had made me not have to worry about itchy eyes, and sneezing and other icky stuff.

I admit my allergies are a tough problem. My allergist told me to give Claritin D a try. He said to try it for a full week to give it a chance to work. After 3 days he called to see how it was going and I told him there ws no difference. For just that day he had me take 2 pills. (which I am not advising anyone to do) It made no difference whatsoever. I took one per day for the remaining days and gave it a solid try, but nothing.

I have used Claritin D for a long time.  I actually used it while pregnant-with my doctor's permission.  This is a class A drug which proves to be very safe.  I have noticed that after not taking it for a few days I will begin to get headaches.  Not sure if this is a side effect of not taking it or if it allows the pressure from my sinuses to build up.  Either way I recommend this product.

Claritin D works well for pet allergies and dust allergies. It does not give me any side effects and has no aftertaste. It does not, however, work on cigarette smoke. It is inexpensive and costs less than my copay for prescriptions, so I would recommend it for someone trying to save money and looking for an effective product.

I have used Claritin D for my allergy and it has been helped alot.  It's quick action help stop allergy symtoms quicker than most of other allergy medicine out there.  Also it's not drownsy likes other brands.  It's kind of expensive but worth your money

Claritin is one of the best allergy medicines out in the market. It works fast and relieves of sinus pressure, allergies, nasal congestion and runny nose. Claritin doesnt dry the mouth as some of the other allergy medicines do.

The only bad thing I could say about this med is that it can sometimes with coffie or soda make you jittery. This is though the only allergy med that does not knock me out cold.
