This has to be one of my favorite skincare products of all time. It never strips my skins, is extremely gentle, and always leaves my face feeling smooth. It never breaks me out and is great in the morning and at night without ever drying you out.

Another great Clarins product. Anyone who cares about their skin knows that there are three steps to your basic daily routine. Cleansing with a good cleanser. Toning; the most important step, which loosens any leftover oils and removes any leftover residue from the cleanser, and prepares your skin for proper absorption of your moisturizer. Without it your moisturizer only gives you partial benefits which is your third step. This product is all three steps plus eliminates the need for weekly exfoliation, which removes the dead skin from your face for a brighter complexion. This is literally an all in one step product for the person who does not have the time to spend getting up and ready for work or at night getting ready for bed. This amazing cleanser is gentle enough to use both day and night, and there is never a need for making that extra time once or twice a week to exfoliate.

I've used this product several times and I do like certain aspects about it. However, I'm really disappointed in Clarins' choice of preservatives and the scent is just ok. So the scent is just okay, but the ball was really dropped for me with Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleanser when they decided to use several types of parabens as preservatives in this product. It's shocking because this brand is supposed to be known for "purest, most beautifully beneficial ingredients". Uh, not so! Depending on how you feel about parabens, I may or may not recommend this. If you don't care about parabens (you should read into them), I would recommend this because it does clean my face well and exfoliates nicely. If you are like me and avoid parabens, I would recommend Yu-Be Foaming Skin Polish or the super inexpensive, St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Effectiveness I like that it is a facial cleanser and exfoliator, all-in-one. I also like the coarseness of the exfoliating particles. They're small and gentle but effective. Scent This product has an orange blossom scent. I like fruity, but this is the flower on the tree, not the fruit, so it doesn't smell as sweet as I was hoping it would.

When I first came across this product, the sales person told me it was a product to keep with you when you don't feel like washing your face. Honestly, it doesn't take less time to use this. If you have enough time to grab a cotton ball, grab the product, and wipe it all over your face, you have time to wash it in my opinion. Of course, one could keep all the materials in a drawer beside the bed. But it is still two steps, one for the cotton ball, one for the cleanser. I feel like the face wipes are more convenient and actually only one step.

I was skeptical when my mother law raved about how much she loves this cleaner.  It was a little hard for me to get to worke up over a facial cleaner.  I ahve to say it really did live up to all the hype.  The one thing I really loved was that this prouct is not oily.  I find to may cleaners use a mineral oil type base for leaner, and that is just to harsh for my face an causes me to break out.  This cleaner is creamy goes on easily and washes completely off with barely any rinsing.  Best of ll it left my skin looking fab!

I discovered this product about fifteen years ago when I became very vulnerable to the fragrances and additives in most products in the cosmetic world.  I have extremely sensitive skin and it breaks out in rashes if i am not careful about the ingredients that are in cosmetics. I love this.  This product is easy to use and convienant to keep on the counter.  I even have a small bottle that I carry with me in my purse for when I need that fast pick me up and change my makeup look for evening.  I also carry the bottle to the spa and workout and it works fantastic.  Just a few drops on a cotton pad and I can feel the sweat and dirt being wiped away.  The fragrance in the product is all natural from the ingredients and is not added.  Clarins products are formulated to moisturize as well as clean.  It leaves my skin glowing and feeling soft as a baby's bottom.  Clarins maybe a little more expensive than the. average department store brand but well worth the money. You get what you pay for.    Always and forever a Clarins user

This product has helped me save time and money by making it one step. I do not like spending a lot of time in the morning to cleanse my face. This is a quality product that is effective and saves time. I have also used higher priced products before and this product is right up there as far as quality. I like the value of this product. I will use it again and I will also look into other Clarins products. Most important to me is having a product that works and is easy to use.

I've tried several skin care products over the years ranging from low end to high end and I've come to this conclusion - I love Clarins products! The quality is worth the price on this one. I was first introduced to them years ago when a friend worked for them in a department store.  I started with the self tanner (love it) and moved to all of their skin care products. Because my friend worked for them she gave me tons of samples so I was able to try all of their products. I especially love this face wash. It's great because it's a cleanser and toner in one, so you only have to deal with one step (Which is a great time and money saver!) It doesn't leave my skin feel dry and tight, even without applying moisturizer right away. After a few weeks of use I could tell that my blackheads were significantly reduced and way less visable. I can't recommend this and all of Clarins Skin Care products enough :)

I discovered Clarins about a year ago when I was given some samples at the Clarins counter in my local shopping mall. I was not aware about this brand and I tried the samples. I read some reviews online and all of them were excellent, that was when I knew this was going to be THE BRAND of my choice. I started buying some products including the **One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser. ** I'm not used to use any cleanser but since I started using this brand I wanted to give it a try. Let me tell you that this item is excellent. It gives you a smooth touch to your face and looks younger, yes, I'm not joking, you look younger. The quality is great and it does not give any kind of rush or allergy. I have very sensitive skin and I'm not afraid about using Clarins products. I know this is a brand I can trust a hundred percent and be confident about all of the items I will buy. You can ask your local Clarins for some samples or write to their customer service email and ask for them before buying it!
