Now I have Clairol Nice 'N Easy in my life, I won't be needing a hairdresser.
I tried Marc Anthony Root Touch-Up and it really didn't color my hair. I am not sure if I didn't leave it on long enough or it was the product. So I tried Nice 'N Easy shade #87 to begin with. This last time I used #102 Natural light ash.
Looking at the box it states that it is 'color-blend technology that expert blend of 3 tones for natural color with highlights. Brown to blonde in just one step'. It is also a permanent color. At the side of the box it has 3 current hair colors, and then the results you will get using it.
In the box are the gloves to protect your hands, the color blend activator, the color blend formula, and the color seal conditioning gloss.
To get started you need to put the gloves on, pull off the top seal on the color-blend activator. then unscrew the applicator bottle cap. Open the color-blend formula bottle and pour all the contents into the applicator bottle. Put the applicator bottle cap on. Place your gloved finger over the top of the applicator and shake well so that it mixes together. You must apply the color immediately to your hair.
I applied the color to my roots first, and then the gray area on the crown of my head. I continued to put the color through my hair, even though it was still blonde. I only used about half of the color, so I threw the rest away.
The last time I left the color on for 25 minutes, and it can be up to 45 minutes, so I went for 35 minutes. I wanted to ensure the brown and gray were well covered.
Then I went into the shower and added warm water to my hair and made a thick lather. I rinsed my hair, and then used the ColorSeal conditioner that came with it. It stated to leave it on for 2 minutes, which I did. There is enough cream for 5 more shampoos.
My hair was a rich mid blonde color, which is similar to the color on the box, for brown hair. It has a gloss to it.
My hair stayed a good color for 12 weeks before I had to color it again. The conditioner lasted for 9 weekly treatments, so I figured it was a great buy.
I purchased my last Nice 'N Easy for $8 but see C.V.S. have them on sale, right now, for $4.99. Time to stock up.
