This product was the best hair color I have ever used andI'vebeen coloring my hair for over 35 years. Twenty of them with Hydrience 04, sunrise. It made my hair soft and shiny. The color was always consistant, and got compliments every day. Covered my gray without a problem and never faded. I can't imagine why it was discontinued. Very upset, nothing else comes close.

Clairol Hydrience in Number 04 Sunrise is my go to hair color.  I have tried a couple of different brands of hair color but Clairol Hydrience leaves my hair feeling soft and silky.  It provides great color without much effort and my hair is better conditioned after.  You will never go back to any other hair color after you try this.  It comes with a pretreatment that you put on right before you color your hair and I think that is what makes it so soft and silky after you are done.  It also helps because then when you are coloring your hair you can separate the sections easier since they are wet.  I have never had a bad coloring experience with Clairol Hydrience.  Number 04 Sunrise gives a nice golden tone to your hair.  It is a nice soft blonde color and I have gotten many complements on it.  The after rinse out conditioner is nice also.  It is big enough that you can continue using it after you color to leave your hair feeling soft.
