I am low maintenance. I hate doing my hair, but, every so often I'll get a wild hair and feel the urge to style my hair. For me, styling means doing something other than pulling my hair back into a pony tail. Recently, I had my long hair chopped off and I told the stylist to give it some wispy, uneven layers so that I could have that crazy wind blown hair look. She recommended I try a spray gel or mousse to give it a little hold when I am blow drying my hair. I've always been fond of Herbal Essences, so there products are the first place I searched. When I came across Tousle Me Softly, it sounded perfect. Upon trying it, I was not disappointed. It's seriously the easiest stuff to use. If you're blow drying your hair, you've got time to use this product. Heck, if you're brushing your hair, you've got time. I just let my hair dryer do the tousling, and spray as I dry so that I get this bird's nest look going on. I love it. Smells great, price is great, and it's from a company I trust. The results are exactly what I was looking for. Give it a try and see for yourself!

I have naturally curly hair, so once it's dry, I try not to comb it or play with it too much. Given that, I wanted a product with light hold, that I could just spritz on for touch-ups on a humid day or after the gym. A spray gel sounded perfect, since was looking for something that would go on evenly (without needed to be combed through), but with more flexibility than most hairsprays I've tried. Unfortunately, Clairol Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel just wasn't the right product for me. No matter how near or far from my head I held the bottle, it seemed like I couldn't get an even application, so some parts of my hair felt sticky while others were dry. The only remedy for that was to wet my hands and try to spread it out that way, which was what I was trying to avoid doing in the first place. Eventually, I decided that this wasn't a good product for me and left the bottle in the communal supplies area at the gym. Hopefully it worked for someone else!

First of all, I have very long hair that is fairly thick, it is also quite wavy slash curly on its own. I dislike blow drying my hair often so I usually leave it to air dry. This product is the perfect match for my natural tousled waves. I have tries different forms of products and gels still remain a favorite for holding and shaping nice soft waves. Applying normal gel can be a bother however so when I started using spray gels it changed my life. This product is so easy to apply, it doesn't clump up or get a hard brittle texture when dried in your hair, but it still holds waves in place for hours on end. I usually apply to my hair when wet or partially dried, but I have even applied it to completely dried hair for adding volume to my roots. It works great for hair like mine and can easily compete with much more expensive products. I am glad I made this purchase and have already bought another bottle to replace mine when it is gone! I definitely recommend it to those looking for nice tousled waves, this product is a drugstore winner!

I bought this product as an extra to the mousse and the curl cream. The other products have an amazing smell, and I use them every single day. This product is a completely different story. I'm not sure what it is supposed to smell like. Almost a mix between lavender and litter box.. Peeee Yewww.. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Not only is the smell horrid, but the product doesn't keep my hair up in a tousle. Not even a soft one as made obvious per the name. My hair falls flat almost withing the first 20 minutes of having it in my hair. It also dries my hair out! BIG TIME! I almost want to compare it with washing my hair with cornstarch. Soft, yet dried out. If only the product lived up to its company's name I would be a lot more happy with it. My next review for this company will be a lot better. That is a promise. but this product does not and will never live up to the Herbal Essences name. I give it a 2 for effort, and that's about the best I can do.

I absolutely love this spray gel for so many reasons ! One of the main reasons that I love this spray gel is because it does not make my hair hard and stiff . I don't like when my hair gets all stiff and hard because I like my hair to look as natural as possible without making it appear to have glue in my hair or something sticky like that . Another main reason why I use this spray gel is because it smells wonderful . The scent last all the way until you wash it out of your hair . I get so many compliments on my hair not only because of the appearance , but because of the scent as well ! I would deffinitely recommend this to a friend because you will absolutely love the results that you have . I have never had a bad hair day using this product , and I feel I owe it completely to Herbal Essences ! The price is pretty good too , so that helps make it that much better ! So try this product today !

This spray gel is my go-to tool on rainy or moist days. Since I have curly hair, I get a lot of frizz. When that happens, I just run water through my hair, not wetting it too much. After I do that I spray on the gel and scrunch up my hair. If you have curly hair and work out, you can use this after. I usually do not wash my hair after the gym so when I go home I do the same as above. I wet my hair and then spray on the gel. I scrunch my hair and it looks like I just styled it. Another plus, you hair will smell good. Also will help with second day hair. I always washed my hair but with the spray gel I can have second day hair. When I wake up I wet my hair and scrunch up. Then I spray on gel to all my hair and I scrunch up my hair again. Once again, I apply a little bit of more water and then scrunch my hair for the last time. My hair looks and smells great!

I love Herabl Essences Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel. I like the way it smells. I like what it does. I like the cost of it. I like the fact that it works. And, work it does. It isn't sticky like most styling gels are. But ti works great. It is easy to use and works quickly, letting you manage and style or even restyle your hair. It doesn't take much either, so one container lasts you a long time. I first tried this a while back, and I have used it every since then. My daughter actually was the first of us to try it when she was sleeping over at a friend's house. She came home and wanted me to get her some. After she started using it, I tried it. I loved it then because it worked better than what I was using. Now I do use it daily. The smell is actually good, and it is not overwhelming in smell. I like that it doesn't make the hair hard like some styling gels do. I also like that it controls frizz easily and wonderfully.

If you are looking for a product to put any type of curl or wave in your hair, this will work.  It is not meant to give you curls but I think it works just as well as some of the other spray gels that claim to give you curls. Essentially, if you already have curl or body in your hair this will help bring it out more.  It has a nice fragrant smell and is not too thick or sticky.  I like that it comes with herbal essence shampoos, conditioners, etc. to go with it, so that you can use all of them for the best results.  I do use it on it's own as well though and it is just as effective. It seems to work best if you leave your hair damp and then spray the product throughout. You can then blow dry it (preferably with a diffuser) and then finish styling your hair with a curling iron and then set with hairspray.  I found this for a really great price and I think that it is not unreasonably priced even if you can not find it on sale.

I absolutely love this product. It smells great and keeps your hair smelling good all day long. I have fine hair and it doesn't make my hair hard like other spray gels. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

          Believe it or not I bought this product for my self, but as much as I really do like it my husband uses it on a daily basis, with our secret weapon cream, (see my other posting). His hair always smells delicious, and feels so very soft **Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly ** **Spray Gel is awesome. It will forever be on my shopping list for me and my husband!** I have not tried the shampoo and conditioner combination, but am looking forward to it. I am sure they compliment each other!!!! I think my hubby might even try them. The trick with men is just stick it in the shower, and they come ot smelling yummy, with their pride still in tact. I pretend that I don't know that he uses my products especially the spray gel and finishing cream more than I do. We will keep that between us now :)  i would recommend this product to any one, male or female. I think you will find it on your mst have list!
