I wear only one watch -- have never changed my watches with my wardrobe. So I needed a watch that went with everything I wear, gold or silver jewelry, dressy or casual. This watch fills the bill. It is a recognized brand name for quality and style, and wasn't overly expensive (but I don't mind paying for something like a watch that I expect to wear daily for 5 - 10 years). The second hand, and the stylish deep blue face, were unexpected features, but I really love them.
