Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium Watch —

I bought one of the first eco-drives, a Titanium one, I loved this watch for about 7 years, 2 years past the warranty.

Here's the problem, the "Power Cell" Stopped holding a charge, I've taken it back to the jeweler a couple times while under warranty and they found nothing wrong with it, when it completely died, I told them I wanted it fixed, Citizen said it had to replace the movement and the power cell, how convenient? For $140, I've looked on some watch web sites and I can find a new one for about $300. I think that even if it was just the power cell, they would still want to charge for the movement as well, this is a rip off!

I'll never buy one of those watches again, they say on the website you'll never have to buy another battery again, they lied!

I must agree! After two of these watches quit within a few years of brand new, we will forsake these Eco Drives for something with some reliability. Citizen is screwing the American public with their cars, now with watches too
