A popular name in banking is Citibank and one of its many credit cards is the Citibank Platinum Visa. With this platinum visa card, reviewers enjoy the added benefits that platinum brings as well as the Citibank name, which is known for its quality. Customer service is very good, too, and the interest rates are reasonable. “Citibank has Numerous Cards Available to All”, according to one satisfied customer, but another has mixed feelings, saying “Great Product, Gets a Person into Financial Trouble”. Not only can excessive use of this easy to use credit card cause trouble, reviewers also warn about reading the fine print on the credit card agreement statement to make sure you are fully aware of fees and the rules of the game. I dont recommend going in debt with credit cards. With limited credit and new to the credit world I was able to get the citibank platinum visa. They provide a reasonable credit limit, and I really love that it is obvious they review your account and make changes accordingly. I have seen them increase my credit limit, and I have seen them decrease my interest rate after it had gone pretty high up because of missed payments. I got back on track, and I have seen them decrease it because of it.

After a recent charge not made by me, I called Customer Service. I was amazed at how fast they resolved the issue! The Customer Service Representative was quick, Courteous and very helpful. I have many other cards but this is now my card of choice! Kudos to Citi Card! I've heard horror stories of false charges but this transaction could not have been handled any better! I am very happy and impressed with the service I received. I did not get a foreign call center either, as I had expected. Good job! I will be using this card for all of my future purchases! We were never late on payments & carry a balance on our citi cards. They sent us a notice saying that they were raising our interest rates to 29.99% in order to continue extending credit to customers. We closed our accounts. It's ridiculous
