Some times I don't understand how some credit cards opperate but I know that I got screwed by them. I am very upset at how I was handle with a problem. What started the problem what that I was sent a letter that my card had but been scamed and that a new card was being sent to me. So I waited patiently and my card came but my account was not set up. So I call to set up my account online because I always make payments online. So the account was set up but then I was told that my card had a past due balance but that she would waive the fees. We currently have a citi card visa. We were late on one payment and the bank rose our interest rate to 29.99. They originally told us that if we had 6 months of no late payments they would lower the interest rate. Upon calling them after the 6 months of no late payments, they told us they could not help us and we had to stick with that interest rate. I would highly suggest someone not apply for this visa card. I am a consumer that pays off my credit card every month.  In December I was out of town for a couple weeks and when I returned, my credit card was past due.  I was charged 39.00 late fee and called customer service for assistance and asked to have the late fee taken off.  I was told it could not be taken off.  I paid the late fee and asked to have my credit card account to be closed.  I e-mailed Citi to see if they would assist and was told the same answer.  I paid off the card and the next month I was charged $1.00 for late fees.  I called and that was taken off of the account.  I feel...

I like my student visa card.  I have had it for 13 years and have had no problems.  I have had problems with other companies that charge my bogus charges and are always changing my APR.  Citi has always stayed the same.  I think that their website is easy to use and it's convienent to make payments on.
