Citi - Diamond Preferred Rewards Card Review Summary
Reward credit cards are commonplace these days, but some certainly rate better than others and one that reviewers consistently like is the
Citi- Diamond Preferred Rewards MasterCard, a credit card that makes earning points and redeeming rewards easy. Citi- Diamond Preferred Rewards MasterCard is “A Great Way to Get Things You Want for Free” and reviewers like the easy online payment and intuitive web site design. Some have pointed out, however, that the ratio of reward points to dollars spent diminishes over time, so the Citi- Diamond Preferred Rewards MasterCard may not be as valuable down the road. But Citi- Diamond Preferred Rewards MasterCard is still a good
Credit Card option for those who like something extra from their credit card.

Favorable Review
In my opinion, credit cards are a great convenience but they can also make it easier to spend more than you intended. For that reason, I almost never carry a balance but I do use the card for most of my spending in order to get the reward points. I didn't seek out the Citibank Diamond…

Critical Review
Overall I still have a positive opinion of this card. I have redeemed over $1000 in points since I have been a member; however the incentives are continually reduced. The card started out with 5x bonus points on groceries and gas, then went to 3x, and is now 2x. I believe companies should honor…

don't carry a balance, Every day computer user, an moderate investor
I used to like this card when you could get 5% rewards in ThankYou points and could redeem 5000 points for a $50 gas card, but those days are gone. Reward percent has dropped and it now takes 6000 points for a $50 gift card, so it is no longer my primary rewards card. — — Customer service is good. Getting higher credit lines online is pretty easy. Consolidating credit lines from other cards can be dome if you get right CSR. Balance transfer offers can be excellent, if the fee is capped (3% BT fee with $75 max) — — I really want to like this…

Every day computer user, a low risk investor
I hate switching credit cards and having to change all of my on-line bill pay options, but this card was worth it! I just received it in January and have already redeemed points for 2 $25 gift cards. I mainly use the credit card for gas and pharmacy purchases (where I earn 5 points per $1) and debit my other purchases (I only earn 1 point per $1 on other purchases.) The rewards are nice, I like gift cards for restaurants and gas stations. My only complaints are they offer gift cards for Shell (few in my area) and the 5 point per $1 will only last 1…

always looking for ways to save, appreciative of good service, Every day computer user, interest conscious
We have been using this card for several years now and have earned hundreds of dollars in rewards. We pay off our balance each month, and there is no annual fee.
We use the card for all our purchases in order to earn the most points. Usually we earn about 5,000 points a month and it takes 10,000 points for a $100 gift card. So you can see how quickly it adds up. We make sure to shop at places that offer extra points to maximize our savings and rewards.
A very good card as long as you pay off the balance each…

saving a little, a timeless classic
Points build up fairly quickly, and you can cash them in at the $50 level or higher. — The website isn't very user-friendly, but it is possible to pay your bill online to avoid finance charges. — Customer service is helpful. Once I forgot my username & password, and couldn't get through the security of the website, but customer service was able to get me back on track. —…

appreciative of good service, thrifty, free gift card rewards junkie, always looking for ways to save, not rich, fuel-conscious
when my grandson wants something I don't have the cash for, I can always tap into my rewards account to help pay for it, sometimes they have the exact item he wants, and I can surprise him with it. (not easy to surprise a 14 year old any more) He always tells me I am a really cool grandma! …

don't carry a balance, infrequent traveler, appreciative of good service, pay my cc bill off each month
This card is a great deal. By using it for most purchases, I have earned regular points and bonus points which have allowed me to get lots of electronics I wouldn't have otherwise bought. No annual fee. Easy to use web site so I can monitor purchases, balances, due dates, and pay easily on…

I got a prepaid access card and I must say I am disappointed. You are charged to pay a bill, charged for withdrawals on top of the surcharge, charged to put money on it. The minimum you can put in it is $25. I didn't know that. Anyway there should be better cards out…
