Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card is generally on an average value. If you really care about the item you buy or like to take care or follow up the item you buy, I really think it is a good choice for you. Here are the details.

5 ThankYou Points for every $1 spent on purchases at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations for 12 months; 1 point thereafter

1 ThankYou Point for every $1 spent on all other purchases

The terms of the original manufacturers' U.S. warranties (of one year or less) may be extended up to one additional year on most items purchased on your card.

Most items purchased with your card are eligible for protection against accidental damage or theft for up to 90 days from the date of purchase.

If you buy something with your Citi card and then see it advertised in print for less within 60 days, you will receive a refund for the difference up to $250 (excludes Internet purchases and certain items).

The above things are what I think is good for you. It is above average since it is 1 dollar for 5 thankyou points in the first 12 months purchase in selected categries which are really daily purchase. Meanwhile you care about the protection time of your item, it is good for you to get it. Up to 1 year extension is good and usually save you a lot.
