Citi - American Airlines AAdvantage Card —

The Citi Master Card American Airlines AADvantage card is very disappointing. The points that you build up in anticipation of gettinga free flight is in fact not a free flight at all. First, you have to pay a booking fee. Then you have to pay an admin fee. Then after the taxes and security fee, it comes out to as much if not more than a regular priced airline ticket to fly on American Airlines. This is quite deceptive and and very highly disappointing practice on their part, bith the financial institution and also the airline. American Airlines' Aadvantage points program is not worth it at all and I am cancelling my membership immediately and telling everybody that I know who does business or personal travel to cancel their membership. It is very patently dishonest to say "fre flights" when in fact the reality of the sitiuation is quite the opposite. Add in thei usery-level interest if you carry a balance, and it is the biggest scam going!
