These skillets are amazing and only cost $39.99 plus tax. I love to cook but hate to clean up afterward. The special food release system works wonders. The pan comes clean with a washcloth and no elbow grease.
The pans heat up quickly and cook everything from eggs to fish perfectly with even heat distribution. I especially love the ability to sear something stove-top and finish it in the oven. This comes in handy for fish.
The handles are well secured and the pans are balanced perfectly.
There are only two drawbacks. One, you have to shy away from the higher stove-top burner settings and temperatures over 400F in the oven to preserve the non-stick coating. Two, there is nothing in or on the handles to indicate that the metal parts of them are extrememly hot after you have cooked with the pans in the oven. I know it is common sense not to touch pans fresh from the oven but all you always work with a skillet by the handle. It is second nature to grab the handle to move the pan. However, even though the silicon is not that hot, the metal within it and the end cap are very hot. If they glowed red or had some other heat triggered warning it would be great.
