I feel like I've taken so much antibiotic medication in the last 9 months that I'm not sure what actually works anymore. I was sick just a few weeks ago and was placed on another antibiotic medication that I thought worked for me before, but did not do the job this time. So, whatever I had came back with a vengenance! My family practice doctor placed me and my daughter both on Ciprofloxacin 500 mg tablets to be taken twice daily. She has the same thing I do, but seems to be one day behind me.
This antibiotic took quick action. I started taking this on November 3rd and felt much better on November 5th. As each day passes I can feel myself regaining strength and going back to normal. The last medication just kept me at an even pace, not getting better, but not getting worse either. I feel this antibiotic is actually working. I can even notice the difference with my daughter. Note: she was also on the last antibiotic medication I was also.
My family practice doctor told me this would take care of everything. Hmmm! Sometimes I wonder why we aren't give the medication that will work first.
With the last antibiotic we both had the side effect of diarrhea. There are no side effects with this medication as of yet.
This is the generic brand so I only had to pay the $10 copay.
I am so glad, an antibiotic medication that actually works and will not strap your wallet.
