A gritty, emotional bout with the American Dream
a Homeowner, a fan of clever plots, a fan of Ron Howard films

Bottom-Line: Once more Ron Howard delivers in Cinderella Man and we have yet another classic film for the ages. 

Very few Americans remember the Great Depression, that worldwide calmly (1929 - 1940) that brought even the richest citizens to their knees.  It was a dark time in U.S. history and not our finest hour I might add.  Americans in general were suffering; food, jobs, and even temperament were in short supply and families had to do what they could-whatever they could-to survive.  It is into this backdrop that Cinderella Man (2005) takes place.

The sound was good.
Every day computer user, a woman, horror film watcher, college student, into movies that tell a great story, horror fan, character-lover, a fan of clever plots

My boyfriend and I love fighting shows. We are both big fans of the UFC so this movie was right up our alie! I've tried to watch this movie many times, but i never got to see it the whole way through. This morning it was on and i finally got to sit and watch the whole thing. He really was the poor mans favorite fighter!

Movie for Everyone
a movie buff, into action flicks

I am obviously a guy, a guy that is usually into more action type movies.  Yes, there are some good fight scenes in this movie.  However, this movie is more than just about boxing.  Its great overall.  Laughter and heart filled.
