Clear Care is the only contact lens solution that does not irritate my eyes. I have been wearing contacts for approximately 25 years and as I got older, I noticed that my eyes were drying out rapidly and that I needed new contacts more often. My eyes itched and were generally irritated on a daily basis. I do not leave my contacts in and remove them nightly. I wanted a solution that would be easy so I began using a multipurpose cleaner and disinfectant all together. It took me quite some time to correlate that this new one-step method was the reason for my eye irritation. I first blamed it on prescription medications and then on fatique and then any other blame I could think of. I'm not sure if someone suggested Clear Care or I just exhausted my options, but I love the way it cleans my contacts every night with a chemical cleansing that removes protein. You can hear it fizzing. I will not buy a double package any more even if this is more cost effective. I like using a new vial with fresh cleansers for each bottle.
