Ciara - Fantasy Ride (Standard Edition) Reviews

You could stick the best voice you could find in front of this music and it still would add up to a total mess. That is a major problem I have with mainstream r&b.....that and the lack of creativity! Fantasy Ride breaks down at just about every track due to faulty breaks (music) and poor direction (production). The thin Beyoncesque vocals don't help much because as with this style of music it all ends up sounding just about the same (just play I Am...Sasha Fierce and Fantasy Ride back to back and you will get my point crystal clearly)!

After the six-mounths delay, due to the label not feeling most of the tracks thats why the album is now released as a single-disc CD and not a 3-disc. 'Fantasy Ride starts off very slick sound with sexy enjoyable tunes like the 'tricky' produced 'Ciara to the stage' and front runner single 'Love Sex Magic' Ft. Justin Timberlake. 'Fantasy Ride' will come off as a little bit dull on two tracks but immediatly picks back up the pase, you'll be moving your head to the sexy dance-R&B sounds along. The main idea was to create a fantasy ride for the listeners- in my opinion it did'nt quite do that some...
