I held very negative ideas of American cars before my 2006 Chrysler Sebring. When my Infiniti I30 broke down at 220,000 miles, I went looking for a car I could afford to buy outright, and not have to make payments on. Everything was just out of my reach - in the 13,000 range. I was looking for a reliable, good looking sedan that was fuel-efficient as well as trustworthy. I had always driven foreign cars, my family had always driven foreign cars, and I couldn't imagine driving an American vehicle.
After the test-drive, my step-father and I decided that, for the price, the Sebring was the best deal, with only 40,000 miles and for $5,000 or so less than the other comparable vehicles with 50,000-60,000 miles on them.
I couldn't be happier with my Sebring, it's a comfortable, roomy, safe, and reliable sedan. It's also good looking, classy and speaks of young adulthood, I would say, as I'm 21 and am proud of my vehicle.
