I bought my Chrysler 300 last year and I get lots of compliments on its appearance. I was mostly motivated to purchase my car because it is comfortable and I love its look--the shape of the car and it's grill look classy to me.
I purchased the stability option with the car and I am glad I did. The car is rear wheel drive and it appears that rear wheel drive cars handle a bit differently that the usual front wheel drive cars (the usual kind of car I have driven). Sometimes, if the road is wet, I can feel the back of my car skid a bit and I imagine this would be worse if I didn't have the automatic stability feature (I've heard of people turning this feature off in bad weather just to feel the difference, but my curiousity about it is not as strong as my deslre to be safe I guess)!
Also, I decided to save a couple of thousand dollars and get the value edition. I wish I splurged for the next level and got one with a slightly bigger engine. I'm not really a car person so I didn't realize the benefits of having a bigger engine when I bought the car, but I think I'm used to a car with faster acceleration when merging onto highways.
In short, I wouldn't suggest the version of the 300 I bought to a friend, but I would suggest that they go a step up and not get my value edition version (though not the Hemi one--I have no idea what a Hemi is, but it seems like something that should be in a truck--it seems silly to have one in a sedan).
