Growing up in Massachusetts and spending summers on Cape Cod, I'd visit Christmas Tree Shops on a regular basis, and still do.  These shops originated on The Cape with stores in West Yarmouth, Falmouth and Hyannis. Their slogan is "Don't you just love a bargain"? well who doesn't.

Since then, they've branched out considerably and are now in many locations in the Northeast which include the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York,Ohio,Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Christmas Tree Shops carry a wide variety of goods from housewares and home accents to Gormet foods and tons of holiday decorations for every season.  It's a great place to find gifts at very reasonable prices, they also carry plenty of selections of gift wrap, cards, bags, boxes ...everything you could possibly need to wrap up just about anything.

They have a wonderful book selection, many best sellers, famous authors at deeply discounted prices. I love collecting cook books and always find something new when I pay them a visit. Usually leaving with more than I intended buy but, the prices are quite decent and I often find things that I put away for Christmas gifts.  Don't get me wrong, Christmas Tree Shops aren't the end-all-be-all shopping experience and they certainly have plenty of items you don't need but it's nice to know that if you did, they likely carry it. This is a perfect place to put together your own custom food gift baskets, got a tea lover in the family? they've got personal tea pots, cups, tasty teas and everything needed to please. Kids books, toys, activities and tons more for the lyoung and not so young alike.

Do they carry unique items? Yes, they have lots of unique looking decorative pieces. Are the stores easy to shop, organized and neat? Yes, for the most part they are but they do tend to get crowded and busy thusly become a bit messy, especially around holiday time but what store doesn't. Depending on location, at least the ones in my area, parking can be a bit of a problem as these stores are always busy so spaces can be hard to come by and you might have to wait a while.

I can go on about this place but I won't take up more of your time, if you get an opportunity to shop here, you'll know what a fun experience it can be while saving money in the process. Don't you just love a bargain?? You bet !!
