Dior Airflash works for me!

By

from USA

Comments about Christian Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation:

I bought the Dior Airflash 200 after trying it on at a department store make-up counter. The salesclerk showed me how to spray it on the make-up brush before applying it to my face. She didn't say anything about spraying it directly onto my face. I think it looks very natural, and my face doesn't have that caked look that some other foundations give me. It also makes my face look luminous. The color is perfect for my skin, and I have a light complexion. It is thick enough to cover my flaws and discolorations while being lightweight enough that I don't feel it on my face. It doesn't settle in the lines on my face even after I've been wearing it for several hours. I only apply it a few times a week, but I've been using it for a year and there is still a lot left in the container. This makes the high price I paid for it seem not quite so hard to swallow. Make sure to shake the container well before using.

The AirFlash by Dior is FANTASTIC!!

By

Comments about Christian Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation:

I absolutely love this product! I came across it when looking for a light and natural looking foundation to wear on my wedding day and have been using it ever since! Nothing else compares to it and it really is flawless and simple to use. You just spray it onto your face, whilst your eyes are closed in a zig-zag motion and you get completely even coverage. You almost look as though you've been airbrushed. Its also weightless so doesn't make your face feel tight at all. As a result of this, it doesn't get creased even after wearing it for many hours. It really is a dream product to use and well worth the cost. I use No. 200 but having tested them all out in the department store to see which colour suited me best, can say that they all apply the same way with the same flawless results each time. In addition to being a great product, it is also under the 3oz limit for carry on liquids for flights, which means that if you don't intend to check in luggage, you can still take it with you on a flight and don't have to compromise by packing an inferior product. Two huge thumbs up from me!

Feeling expensive yet?

By

from San Diego, CA

Comments about Christian Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation:

I purchased this product in hopes to finding the perfect foundation. I naively purchased it thinking, it must be awesome if its that expensive. I was very naive and new to make up at the time. It came in a spray can, and promised to provide the same finish Air brush make up would - absolutely flawless and natural. Well, not on my skin. Thankfully, I don't have many flaws on my face to require full coverage. But I still wanted to like this foundation, it was DIOR after all.

First of all, I didn't understand why it came in a spray bottle, with instructions on how to spray it on to my face, while the sales associate constantly told me to spray small amount on my hand and use it from there with a kabuki brush. Ok, fine, even with little to no control over how much product I spray out of the bottle, I was willing to give the product a chance.

I tried sheering the foundation out, using little amounts, but even with little amounts of foundation on my skin, it appeared unnatural. It was powdery in appearance! I did not like the finish at all.

I can't say much about how long the product lasts on skin through out the day, because I refused to test further when I wasn't satisfied with it's appearance.

By the way if you use the spray directly on your face, the foundation tends to spray down on your clothes and on your hair around the forehead. Not very practical in general.

Incredibly light foundation

By

from Stockton, CA

Comments about Christian Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation:

I have horrible skin because of acne (from rosacea), permanent acne scars, discoloration, and redness. No foundation has been able to fully cover all of my skin problems and when I layer on the foundation, it looks cakey and it's embarassing. But if you've never had moderate to severe permanent problems with your skin you won't understand how it feels. This is one of the best foundations I have ever tried! It covered up all my skin problems, made my skin look dewy and soft, and it felt like I was wearing no foundation at all.

It took me a few tries to get used to using it without making a mess everywhere. The instructions say to spray in a Z motion 8 inches away from your face. I found that I needed to spray it closer to my skin in order to get full coverage. I use a makeup sponge and my foundation looks flawless. The only inconvenience is I have to spray on the foundation before getting dressed, or put a towel around my neck area and risk staining my clothes. Also, the lightest shade of this foundation is still a bit dark for me, so I wished this would come in lighter colors. Still, being able to finally look and feel like I'm wearing little to no foundation is worth it even though it's expensive. I won't ever be able to cure my Rosacea, but I finally found a foundation that makes me feel and look good.

This foundation is so light and covers flawlessly

By

from Pawtucket, RI

Comments about Christian Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation:

I never use foundations because they always seem to feel heavy and make you look like your wearing a ton of makeup but the dior airspray foundation goes on so light and it covers your face flawlessly. You don't have to use a lot of it. The best way is to use a foundation brush. Spray a light mist across your face and use the brush to smooth over. It's a litte pricey but worth the money.
