Chris Freytag Personal Fitnes Blender Review

I really love my Chris Freytag Personal Fitness Blender. I looked for several years for a blender that would chop ice and make smoothies and such but most I found were huge turbo blenders that you had to lug out every time I wanted to make something. Or little budjet blenders that wouldn't even cut through frozen fruit. This blender is amazing. It has a 350-watt motor and ice crushing blades that can mix fruits, veggies, and ice. It has two speeds and a pulse dial and measures about 13 inches high by five inches in diameter. Just big enough to leave out and lightweight enough to bring out again after holiday guests are gone. It won't sit and collect dust like that monster in the back cupboard you never use!

The mug on the Personal Fitness Blender has its own lid and detaches after you make your drink  so  it is designed to be taken along with you. It fits in nearly every style of car cupholder and cleans up easily. One full mug of smoothie could actually serve two but if you want to make two or three different kinds of drinks and or want to make everyone in the family an on the go breakfast you can buy additional mugs. I did and it is worth it.

I have tried ice, frozen fruit, protien shakes, and all manner of concoctions in mine. I like using yogurt and frozen fruit with a little vanilla or bananna extract. Or you can make slushies with ice and bottles of fruit syrup. The sky is the limit. Just about anything you see in a smoothie or mixed drink recipe book you can make in the Chris Freytag Personal Blender.

Cleanup is fairly simple. The base can be wiped clean and the mug is hand washable in warm soapy water. Do be careful of the gasket that cushions the blade lid. You can remove it to wash the chopping end of the blender but I do not reccomend it because it is hard to get it back in.

Overall it is a great every day blender and I love mine. You can find them in some retail chain stores or at QVC in lots of cheerful colors. Love it, highly reccomended.
