My favorite chocolate- the **Choceur Milk Chocolate with Almonds bar!** I have always been a bit of a chocolate snob. I can't stand cheap chocolate like Palmer's and really don't care for everyday chocolate like Hershey's, Whitman's or even the better brands of Cadbury or Ghirardelli. I lived in Europe as a girl so I guess I just used to good chocolate. I was given a piece of Choceur chocolate by a friend and not to be rude, I placed it in my mouth expecting the waxy, crude taste of American chocolate. I couldn't believe my taste buds! Inquiring where she had bought the chocolate, she told me Aldi's.  To my knowledge, Choceur is a premium chocolate sold exclusively to the German-based grocery store chain, Aldi's. I have seen it online but I don't know if those online companies bought it by bulk from Aldi's and are re-selling it or if they somehow bought their own from Choceur. (Their prices are always higher than Aldi's so I would suspect the first guess to be accurate.) I don't know what Choceur does to create their chocolate but the creamy, smooth result is worth looking for. **Bottom Line:** The chocolate is made in the Austria Alps from the freshest milk and ingredients around. The result is an inexpensive chocolate that puts all other chocolate to shame.
