Comments about Chloraseptic Warming Sore Throat Lozenges:
My sons and I have the flu or a terrible cold or SOMETHING that is making us all very miserable. We take over the counter pain relievers for the fever and body aches and pains, but there hasn't been anything that has significantly helped the terrible sore throat that is one of the symptoms of this virus from which we are all suffering.
My local pharmacist suggested that we try **Chloraseptic Warming Sore Throat Lozenges** to ease the pain. He had these throat lozenges in both Honey Lemon and Green Tea With Real Honey flavors, and I chose to buy and try the **Green Tea With Real Honey.**
These lozanges have a wonderful numbing effect that significantly eases my terrible sore throat pain. They also taste better and the numbness lasts longer than with any throat spray I have used. They feel a little "warm" when they are in my mouth, which is good, kind of like drinking a cup of hot tea, which always feels nice when I have a sore throat. The center is a liquid, chewy type, and I think that center contains a little extra of the anesthetic, which is such a relief for me.
This product's description is:
*Fast acting, pain relief, green tea antioxidants with real honey. Soothing LIQUID CENTER. Temporarily relieves occasional minor irritation, pain, sore throat and sore mouth.*
Directions for use:
*Adults and Children 3 years of age and over: Take 1 lozenge every 2 hours as needed. Allow lozenges to dissolve slowly in the mouth. Children under 3 years of age: Consult a doctor or dentist .*

*Benzocaine 15 mg.*

**Chloraseptic Warming Sore Throat Lozenges with Green Tea Antioxidants** are wonderful for helping extremely sore throats feel a little better for a little while, and considering how badly my throat hurts, I am very thankful for the relief!
This product is not intended for use in relieving congestion.
Chest Congestion Relief
Chloraseptic Warming Sore Throat Lozenges with Green Tea Antioxidants do not contain a cough expectorant.
Relief of Aches & Pains
These lozanges ease the pain of sore throats very well but they do not contain a fever reducer or a pain reliever such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
My cough does decrease somewhat when my throat doesn't hurt and tickle, so I would say this products helps somewhat in that department, but it is not a medication that contains a cough suppressant. It's simply a great supplement that eases the pain of sore throats or mouth sores.
