On my very first visit, I got the Jade salad, despite my friend's insistance on getting the Chopped Chicken Salad. I thought it was 'alright' and was willing to come back for another try 'some other time'. That other time I finally had the Chicken Salad as part of their Dim Sum and Then Sum... and it's been over a decade of fandom ever since. Sometimes I just get that 'hankering' and have Chin Chin's on my speed-dial to pick up on the way home.

The last time I was at the Studio City restaurant I didn't see Dim Sum and then Sum on the menu, but the watier assured me that it was still available....

my friend suggested the "dum sum and sum", which they had but didn't show on the menu.  it was good because i got to taste a bit of this and a bit of that.  dumplings w/sauce were good.  jade salad ingredients were fresh.  hunan chicken was tasty.  vegetable mushu wasn't bad.  ginger mojito was ok.

overall, chin chin is alright.
