Chihuahuas Dog Breed Review

I looove my chihuahua. I bought her last year when she was four months old and we have had a wonderful time together so far. She is very sweet and loving, and definitely loyal. She loves to play and give kisses and will happily follow me wherever I go. She is definitely easy to care for and a great apartment dog. She sleeps during the day when I am not home and is ready to go when I arrive. She is trained to puppy pads in the home so I don't have to worry about accidents while I'm gone. This breed is certainly inexpensive to care for too! One four pound bag of food usually lasts us a whole month. Her main pitfall is her behavior towards strangers (barking, biting, etc). But, I agree with my fellow reviewer, this is definitely a stereotype and I think this behavior has more to do with her upbringing in the breeder's home than an inborn trait. Some training has helped her come a long way and I see improvements on a daily basis. If you want a loyal lap dog who will forever admire and adore you, this is the breed for you!
