Chihuahuas are smart and lovable...easily fit in lap

I have had my chihuahua, Bella, for over a year now.  She's a great, loyal companion and loves any amount of attention we give her.  She goes crazy over treats and is quite a wonderful source of entertainment and amusement for us.  She loves our family dearly and just wants to be in the thick of whatever is going on.  She so small she can easily curl up with us and can go with us anywhere.  One drawback is that I'm afraid to let her outside on her own...she loves to run but seems to have no idea of boundaries and is full of energy.  When I move I'm going to think about purchasing some kind of fence so she can run and play outside safely....she's just so tiny that anything can get her.
