Chicco Polly High Chair Review Summary

Packed full of valuable features, the Chicco Polly High Chair is described as “easy to clean, even easier to hide.” As you might guess, the Chicco Polly “folds up on 3 clicks” and hides away (although the high chair is slightly bulky and heavy.) Equipped with two snap on trays, parents can quickly “take the mess away and snap on a clean tray.” Additionally, the Chicco Polly High Chair comes with two high chair pads making it a snap have a clean one on hand. Being easily adjustable, parents can choose between many height and recline options to best suit their needs. According to one mom “my 8 mo old and 24 mo old both use this high chair, it adjusts that easily.” The shoulder straps on the harness are difficult to use so many just used the lap belts. The Chicco Polly High Chair is on the higher end of the price range, but if these features sounds appealing to you others state it is “worth every penny.” Read more baby high chair reviews here to make a comparison.

We recieved the Chicco Polly High Chair as a gift from my Father-in-law, and it has been so perfect for my son for about 2 years now.  It was very good for him when he was 6 months old, the 5 point harness kept him sitting upright and didn't allow him to slouch like some chairs do.  He's 27 months...

The Chicco Polly High Chair is great, but it does have some drawbacks.

First we own all pieces of the Explorer series from Chicco: the stroller, car seat, play yard, hippo chair, and finally the high chair. Great neutral colors since we didn't know what we were having.

The high chair so far is the piece...

I originally wanted the Chicco Polly Discovery highchair because it matched my Chicco Keyfit Travel System. Once I really started looking at it though, I had to have it. It has two removable tray covers. One stays on the high chair and the other stays in the dishwasher. The vinyl seat is very easy to wipe down and clean up after a messy meal! It is so nice to be able to clean up so quicky, even after spaggetti night!! All I have to do is remove the tray cover, put it in the dishwasher, remove the tray, wipe down the seat, click a new tray cover over the tray, replace the tray, fold up the highchair...

I was very excited to get the Chicco Polly high chair but quickly found it had too many unneccessary features. The reclining position for younger infants is completely useless and I never used it. It has a removable cushion for easy clean up but it isn't easy to remove and becomes more of a pain than a nice feature.

I also didn't really think about that fact that while it comes with two removable trays that are dishwasher safe, they have no point. There is no reason to use the extra tray let alone two of them. If you put it on, food easily slips to the bottom tray requiring you to wash both anyway....

When I was pregnant with my fourth child and was finally getting a girl my mom and sister took me shopping.  They wanted to buy me my shower gift from them, and we planned to get the Peg Pereggo highchair that was orange and so cute.  When we got to the store we immediately had the sales lady check their stock on the Peg Pereggo highchair.  We were standing by the highchairs waiting for the sales lady and saw the Chicco Polly highchair in the splash print (big colorful circles).  We all looked at each other and said "that highchair right there is super cute too".  When the lady came back to...

The Chicco Polly was recommended to me by many online mommy-friends, and I haven't been disappointed!  We were living in a small apartment at that time, so a slim folding chair was a must - this one folds up nice and flat, is easy to fold, and stands on it's own while folded.  Plus, it has two seat cushions - a lighter one for older kids and an additional one that goes on top with head cushions for younger ones.  The back reclines easily.  It has adjustable heights so it can be snugged up to the table.  The leg rest also tilts to several positions, and the foot rest is adjustable, so little...

I purchased this high chair after researching various brands and found that this brand came highly recommended. I was also looking for a chair that folded up compactly. I am currently on my second child and I sold this high chair when my second child was 11 months old. I really grew to dislike this chair. The recline option is great for when they are super little (under six months - but you're not supposed to feed them before then anyway) Once they start sitting up by themselves, the chair does not really allow them to sit upright. I had to put towels in behind the cushions so my kids wouldn't... review »

I initially looked at the Chicco Polly High Chair because I like the colors.  After doing extensive research, I decided to buy it.  We put our daughter in it the first time she tried cereal and she has had MANY meals and naps there since.  I have found it very easy to use, easy to clean and it seems like it is quite comfortable for my daughter!  I love the fact that it reclines because my daughter has fallen asleep many times after eating a big meal and it is so easy to just lean her back and let her sleep!  I also appreciate how easy it is to clean by just detaching the tray and washing...

I'm a big believer in reading Amazon reviews -- customers rarely lead me astray! But this chair (which we bought specifically because of everyone's praise) is miserable! I don't understand why it got such high marks... The tray is way too huge for easy cleaning and it (rather than the chair) has a "leg separator," which means you can't set it down anywhere without it tipping all over the place. We've also found that the tray can be EXTREMELY difficult to hook onto the chair, and doesn't push in towards the baby's belly far enough. In addition, the clips that attach the harness are filled with...

We bought the Chicco Polly high chair when our son was about 10 months old, which is when he started eating solids more independently (i.e. finger foods).  Before that, it was easier just to hold him and feed him.  The features that we have enjoyed the most have been:

-adjustable height - We eat most often at our coffee table (small apartment), so being able to have him at our lower level has been great.

-two tray covers - This comes with two clear plastic tray covers, which is awesome, b/c I can have one in the dishwasher and still have another one to use.

-easily folds flat - The Polly folds...

I love my Chicco Polly Highchair.  I like that everything comes apart or moves so you can clean it or adjust it.  I love the fact that it was wheels and 2 tray covers.  I wish I had looked into all it's features before my little one using it for meals.  If I'd realized that the back reclined, I would have used it for her bottles once she started holding them herself.  I also love that it has wheels so we can drag it around the kitchen and put it away without scratching up our hardwood floors.  Lastly I love the colors, very neutral and fits in nicely with out kitchen.  I specifically registered...

Everywhere we go, we seem to know someone who has this high chair.  We were originally registered for the 250 dollar Peg Perego high chair that basically looked like a piece of our furniture.  We read many reviews and stumbled upon this one.  We bought it because we got the brown one and looks just fine in our house.  It is easy to clean.  A child at any age could sit in it and be supported.  It comes with a couple of trays that are easy to clean and have held up well.  It is easy to move around our hardwood floors and does not scratch the floors.  It is easy to fold up, but we do not need...

When my Husband and I registered for baby products, we had registered for the Fisher Price Rainforest High Chair.  But as a Baby Shower gift, my Grandmother gave me the Chicco Polly Woodstock.  Once I got home, I looked up the Chicco Polly Woodstock Highchair online and saw the great reviews and decided to keep it.  I really wanted to keep it because my 90 year old Grandmother had picked it out and I did not want to upset her if I returned it.  This seat has been great!  It adjusts to many different heights. You can lower it to the table and not use the tray if you like.  It reclines in many...

The chicco highchair is a good buy for your money. we have owned the chicco high chair for approximently five months now and use it everyday. It does have a few wonderful features. these features include, several different hight position, back of chair recline, a removable tray that sits ontop of another tray, easy fold and the high chair is on four caster wheels that have saftey locks. The chair has a harness to keep your little one in place and it is very easy to use and function. The chicco high chair sets up in minutes and can be easly done with one person. One downfall to this chair is the...

I have used this high chair for 2 yrs now and am on 2nd baby in this chair. My 8 mo old and 24 mo old both use this high chair, it adjusts that easily. It can be brought right up to the table, fits right under for an older baby/toddler, and reclines and adjusts up or down for feeding an infant. There are two snap on trays that come with this chair, so just take the mess away and snap on a clean tray, you are ready to go for next feeding. The tray is nice and wide, and has approx a 1" depth, so spills are easily contained. I do wish it came in different colors, but the brown w/ orange trim isnt... review »

I LOVE this high chair! It wipes clean in a flash and in between uses, It folds up it 3 clicks. I have very limited space in my dining room area, and so I need to hide it when it is not in use. It folds flat--probably no more than 8 inches in width, which I can slide into the closet or lean up against the wall. Another great feature which I didn't use much, but definitely will use more with the next baby is the tilt feature on the back part of the seat. It leans back so you can put younger babies in it to give a bottle or if you want them to be at the table with you during a meal.

I actually took...
