We bought the Chicco Polly high chair when our son was about 10 months old, which is when he started eating solids more independently (i.e. finger foods). Before that, it was easier just to hold him and feed him. The features that we have enjoyed the most have been:
-adjustable height - We eat most often at our coffee table (small apartment), so being able to have him at our lower level has been great.
-two tray covers - This comes with two clear plastic tray covers, which is awesome, b/c I can have one in the dishwasher and still have another one to use.
-easily folds flat - The Polly folds to about 8" in width in about 1-2 minutes, and then you can roll it away for storage.
We just had our son's first birthday, and of course allowed him to dig into his birthday cake. Unfortunately, I must report that the red icing from his cake was not as easy to clean off of the plastic as I had hoped (mostly got stuck in the crevices in the armrests). However, this high chair is still HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
