I was very excited to get the Chicco Polly high chair but quickly found it had too many unneccessary features. The reclining position for younger infants is completely useless and I never used it. It has a removable cushion for easy clean up but it isn't easy to remove and becomes more of a pain than a nice feature.
I also didn't really think about that fact that while it comes with two removable trays that are dishwasher safe, they have no point. There is no reason to use the extra tray let alone two of them. If you put it on, food easily slips to the bottom tray requiring you to wash both anyway. And if you do have a use for the removable tray and you want to put it in the dishwasher, good luck. It's too tall to fit in the bottom rack so you'd have to remove the top rack and wash the tray only. Due to the uselessness of the trays, I'm wasting space trying to store them.
One of the main reasons I got this highchair was because it was supposed to fold super thin. It doesn't. It still remains big and bulky and I end up keeping it unfolded most of the time taking up valuable real estate in my tiny house. Even if I do fold it up, it is impossible to unfold easily with a baby in tow. A hungry toddler doesn't want to chill out on the floor while Mommy fights with the high chair.
It's not all bad though. It locks in place nicely and the tray stays put. It's not horribly childish looking (other than the fact that it is a high chair!) so if you want to maintain the decor of your home regardless of the fact that you have a baby, it looks very chic and modern. It does keep baby in place nicely
If you're on a budget and have space constraints, look elsewhere.
