I bought this for my DD so she could sleep in our room for the first few months. It has all the features we need and more. Changing station, music and vibration with light and a remote control. It also has jungle animals attached to arches that serve as a gym. The mattress is the most comfortable but we bought the Summer Infant playard mattress and the Circo playard sheets and they fit perfectly.

The Chicco Lullaby LX Playyard sits in our living room as we have a 2 story-house and we needed a place for our son to sleep when not upstairs. The bassinet feature was fantastic when he was little - we felt very safe having him nearby us when we wanted to be downstairs. It is so easy to take apart and put together that when we took our son on vacation at 5 weeks, we took it along with us and used it in the hotel as his crib. We didn't need to worry about where to change him either, the attachment was right there for us to use at any hour without having to bend over and change him on a hotel bed (where an accident could occur) or on a dirty hotel floor. At some point, he stopped sleeping in the bassinet (our fault, different locations took its place) but he still would fit in it if we chose. However, now the playyard has become solely our downstairs changing table and we couldn't live without it! We are sad to say that he will soon outgrow it though - he's a very tall baby and I give it maybe one more month until he's too long. Thankfully it has the playyard element so we can continue to use it, especially because he is becoming mobile now and it gives him a safe place to play.

This is a pretty good play yard and it was worth the higher price i had to pay for it. I usually put my son in it when i want to get errands done in my house. I also love how strong the whole play yard is. My son moves and jiggles around in the play yard a lot and it does not get flimsy or move around. I also love the extra toys that are on the top of the play yard. The bottom of the play yard is soft, so my son is able to sleep in it. The sides are mesh and my son can see through the holes, and that helps him to feel less alone. Folding the play yard can be chore because there are different buttons and folding things in it, so it is my least favorite part. The play yard is a little bulky when it is folded up, but easy to travel with.

When we were looking for a play yard when pregnant with our first daughter, I was surprised at how uncomfortable all the "mattresses" were on the play yards. We had planned to have our daughter sleep in a pack n play in our room for the first few months while I was nursing her at night so that I could just get up and nurse her right there instead of going across the house in the middle of the night. Given that we planned for her to sleep on it every night initially, I didn't want it to feel like cardboard. When we found the Chicco Lullaby, we were very impressed with the comfort level. We debated about it because it was quite a bit more expensive than others and didn't anticipate using all the extra "bells and whistles" that came with it, but in the end, the mattress sold us and we still love it! Both of our girls have slept a decent amount in this and I'm so glad we spent a little more and got the comfort that came with it!

This play yard does most of what you want it to do. The core job of providing a mobile but safe environment for a baby is done well but most of the extra features are poorly done. The most important aspect of this in my mind would be safety. The construction of all the materials is solid and I don't feel that there's any danger of collapse or breakage. All of the supports, as far as I can tell, are made of aluminum and the fabric that holds it all together is thick and sturdy. When the top part is added so that it works as a bassinet, the metal support bars and multitude of fasteners keep everything tight and in place, giving a solid place for the baby to sleep. The extra features are just okay and you probably won't use most of them. There is a little unit that stands on a corner that plays music and runs on batteries. It does what it says it does. The music is there, the orange nightlight is there, and it vibrates. The vibration is very soft and hard to feel. I don't feel like my baby every benefitted from it. The remote stopped working almost immediately. The makeshift mobile is a good idea but it makes putting the baby in a difficult task and we never use it.

We purchased this when our daughter was born.  We used it a lot during the first few months.  When we brought her home from the hospital we set this up in our room and she slept in it.  Later we moved this downstairs so she could nap in it while I was in the kitchen.  The changing station feature is great and we used this a lot.  It was wonderful to not have to go up to her room every time  a diaper needed changing.  I also love that the mat is removeble.  We would set this on the floor and she would kick at the animals and watch them.  The music is probably her favorite.  She loves to press the button and listen to the music.  Our remote control never really worked that well, so that is one downside I've found.  This is fairly easy to set up and break down.  It stores nicely in a zippered bag. This is definitely a playyard that grows with your child.  As my daughter has grown, we've continued to use this and it's perfect for traveling.  Overall, I think the Chicco Lullaby is a great playyard.

I looked at quite a few play yards before deciding on the Chicco Lullaby model. They can range in price, features and quality which made it quite a decision to finally make. After looking at the Consumer Reports list of top quality play yards, Chicco's version was highest for both safety and durability.  This play yard has so many great features: - It travels well - simple to fold up and slip into it's very own travel case, then just grab the handle and roll! Built in wheels make both traveling and moving it around the house a breeze. - The changing area gives ample (and padded I might add) space to change baby when needed. It folds up for use and then folds down over the side to give full access to the play area when not in use. Plenty of storage pockets, too for diapers, ointments, etc. - The corner piece is a nightlight, plays music (a variety of songs) with volume control, and a mild vibrator - all used independently of each other or together and also can be controlled by remote. - The quality and construction is the best in my opinion, not wobbly or shaky - One of my favorite features is the bassinet, and was easily converted to the regular mode once he grew too big I am so glad we picked this model and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a play yard that will last with lots of use!

Love love love this pack n play its awesome my grandson loves it has one for his home and ours the vibrate seems to vibrate more on sides but he seems to still love it he loves the mobile i love everything about it especially that the vega  designs  love the plush fabric i love that its heavier ,love the changer is on side love the remote just wish vibrations had more settings and were stronger but as i say baby loves it

We received this as a gift and we love it! It is very sturdy, the material is thick but can be easily washed if needed. The color is netural so it can be used for a boy or a girl. There are jungle animals that attach to it that are soft and easy to unclip if you want to take them off and let your baby play with them. The bassinet on top is amazing, it has vibrations that can easily switch on and off. They are the prefect strength to put them to sleep. There is also a nightlight with a remote. We can stand outside her door and turn the light on and off if we need to or we can turn the switch on. We keep this in our bedroom though for an extra bed for her right now. Then when she gets older we will move her into her crib and take this pack and play with us everywhere!!! Another great thing, the bottom part of it can be covered. By this I mean the material can be rolled up on the sides or down so when she is napping, we close off all distractions and close the curtains!

I love, love, love this pack and play. The Chicco Play Yard Lullaby was our first choice for such a product because we didn't know the gender of our baby beforehand and we wanted something classy, stylish and most importantly, unisex. I am so glad we went with this play yard because our daughter slept in it for a good six months next to our bed. By having a bassinet feature, we didn't have go to buy a seperate one, which was great. Our daughter seemed very comfortable in the Lullaby, and she loved the music and vibrations. It is great to be able to take the mat out and use the playgym with adorable stuffed jungle animals, making it an even better value. The only con of this play yard is that it's not the easiest to put up or take down. The side rails can be a real problem, and it adds extra time to the assembly process every time, which is annoying because we take it back and forth to the grandparents' on a regular basis. Eventually, though, it always comes together, and is a great napping aide!
