This wonderful carseat came in very helpful, and safe. It is cute, comes in several different colors, and was very affordable. We are happy that we chose this carseat, and would not consider ever buying a different brand of a carseat.

The chicco Keyfit carseat is a safe carseat that lets a child sit in a rear facing carseat longer than other carseats. It can support a baby till it is up to 30 lbs compared to most carseats which only support till they are 25lbs. Since a child is suppose to rearfacing till it is one years old this is a great feature to have. When i was researching carseats to get the only negative thing about this carseat was that it was heavy, which i agree with, but i can live with a heavy carseat as long as it is safe. I had not heard anything negative about this carseat regarding safety and that is what sold me on it. The carseat is definetly heavier than most carseats, but it is not unbearable. It fits good in almost any car, and if it doesnt fit well with the base you can still you the carseat without a base. On some of the other more expensive carseats you are not able to use them without a base but on this one you can. With this carseat you definetly get your moneys worth.

When we bought the Chicco car seat, we were looking for a car seat that would be able to be used for as long as possible, so we could get the most use out of it. We bought our Chicco car seat at Babies-R-Us and were pleased with it the entire we used it. We bought the stroller/car seat combination and the wonderful thing about it is that a mom can use the car seat and stroller with only using one hand. My mom and dad bought a separate base so that they could put it in their car and use the car seat. I like the way the car seat and stroller work together and the way you can pull the sun shade down completely in case it is raining or the sun is shining brightly. I also liked the adjustable head rest the came in handy. This was a WONDERFUL product for us and we will use it again if we have another child. I highly recommend this product for cost, ease of use for moms and dads alone without help, availability to get additional bases for grandparents and for durability.

When I went car seat shopping for the first time, I had no idea what I was looking for! When I seen the Chicco Keyfit Travel System I thought it looked practical so that is what I went for. Wow!! Talk about beginners luck! I love it and would recommend it to everyone! It's so convenient and practical to be able to move my sleeping baby from the car to the stroller so I can shop, without ever waking him!! You just unclick the car seat out of the vehicle and click it right down into the stroller!! My oldest son is now 19 months old and still using the stroller. The infant seat is now on baby number two. My 6 month old son is using it now and I love it just as much as I did the first time around! I love the green color too. It works perfectly for both genders. That way if by some stroke of luck my next child is actually a girl, she can use it too!! If you are a first time mom and you don't know what to go with, I 100 % recommend the Chicco Keyfit Travel System!! It will make your life...

The Keyfit travel system was absolutely wonderful! We registered for the travel system before our son was born and was given to us as a gift from my parents. It's not the cheapest or most expensive system available, but runs middle-of-the road insofar as overall price. But for the price you are getting an extremely reliable and well-built travel system that you can use in nearly any situation. The car seat is extremley well designed, and the base is extremely strong and sturdy. You can even attach it directly to the frame of the vehicle through its metal attachments. For those with multiple vehicles, additional bases can be purchased for a relatively low price. The only downside to the carseat itself is that it is heavy. Not having compared many car seats, I'm not sure if is a trait common to car seats in general. My wife, however, loved the various styles available and was highly rated on Consumer Reports, so I agreed to the purchase. And I'm glad that we did.

I purchased the Chicco Keyfit 30 for my fourth child, and let me tell you I wished I had gotten one for all my kids. This is the best car seat that I have ever owned. I bought it in Extreme color. It can hold a baby up to 30lbs. It has a newborn insert for extra padding when they are small, then you can remove it when they get past 11lbs. The material was very soft and very durable. I got a few stains on mine but they scrub right out. My little boy always looked so comfortable in it and always slept well in it. It also came with the Keyfit 30 car seat base, which made putting the car seat in the car extra easy. It has a sun canopy with a little extra canopy for the rain. We installed ours using the Latch system, which was very easy. There was only really one complaint that I had with it. As my son got older the car seat became very heavy, especially when he was almost 30lbs. It does not fit in the top section of shopping carts but it is also not suppose...

Chicco KeyFit car seat and stroller is hands down the best there is!

As a first time Mom I knew nothing about car seats and strollers or which type was better than the rest. But I knew that safety came first, then the price, and then the style and color. I have a back issue so I need a car seat and stroller that would be easy for me to handle alone. I tried out several car seats and stroller sets (travel systems) in Babies R Us while registering for my baby shower but as soon as I pushed the Chicco KeyFit Travel System down the aisle in the store I knew It was the one. It was smooth, and I could open and close the stroller with one hand. It was not heavy and the most important part was the employee at the store told me how this travel system was rated #1 for saftey. I was sold. The price point for this item is great as well. Oh- it is offered in many different colors. I have the Green one and I LOVE it!!!

Very easy to keep clean!

I bought the orange and grey Chicco KeyFit carseat for my third child because of the great safety reviews it got. My baby was 9 lbs., 2 ozs. at birth so I was very thankful that it went to 30 lbs. so we were able to use it until he was eight months old. I found the seat to be very easy to install (we have a van with captain's chairs) with LATCH and easy to get the baby in and out of. It was also easy to adjust the straps when he had on a heavier coat. The only complaint that I have about the seat is that it was quite heavy, but I think most infant carriers are fairly heavy. The seat also fit nicely into the front of shopping carts at many different stores. I also bought the Chicco Trevi stroller to use the infant seat with and it snapped in easily to the stroller. I recommended this carseat to many people and would recommend it over again. I felt that it was a little pricey, but in the end, worth the money for the safety features that it offered.

i am writing about the chicco brand because it is so expensive. i cant afford a 300 dollar stroller or a 200 dollar carseat i think that the price is rediculous . but the product it a good product it is reliable and isnt cheap.

I love my Chicco Cortina Carseat in Sahara. It was part of a travel system with the matching stroller. The carseat base was very easy to install. It was also easy to put in and take out of the car. I liked that it had a level on the base so that you know if it is at the right angle. All the fabric parts were also easy to take off and put back on incese they were soiled. The five point harness was also easy to snap and unsnap. I sold it to someone but if I do ever have more children I would definitely buy one again. I thought that it was reasonably priced. I loved the color selections. Mine was Sahara which made it unisex. The carseat also snapped onto the stroller which is nice. It is one of the lighter weight car seats which made it easy to carry with a child in it also. It was very compact, not too bulky like some. Overall I was very happy with the product!

Chicco Keyfit 30-Not as great as i thought itd be.I looked at it in babiesrus and it had good reviews online on their site.It seeemed to be in their top baby registry,I liked the color and look of it.It looks cheerful in the red and bright orange .It is pretty easy to use, straps on very comfortably.Easy to put and take out of the base.

My daughter somehow doesnt find it very comfortable,the bucket seat is too deep& narrow and makes it hard for my girl to get comfortable.the baby feels uncomfortably hot inside during the summers,The car seat is quite heavy and bulky, with a growing baby and the weight of the seat itself, it is not any easier to carry it around.Once you put a 20+ lb toddler in it, it's a bit too heavy to carry with her in it so I wound up holding her hand and carying the car seat.

They say it holds toddlers upto30 lbs, my lil one at 21lbs seems to have overgrown it already, with her legs reaching out to the back of the seat.So i have to get a new one now.I wish i had...
