Chicco KeyFit Review

We purchased this carseat/travel system for our first born child.  We did A LOT of searching and looked at A LOT of reviews and the Chicco Keyfit system seemed to have THE BEST reviews for SAFETY and EASE OF USE.  Although we are are not rich, my husband and I wanted to get the safest seat regardless of price and we were grateful this seat received the best reviews and was not overly priced.  It is not the least expensive or most expensive model...it is moderately priced.

We chose the CHICCO Keyfit30 b/c we wanted our seat to last for a long time and wanted a seat we could use in a travel system.  We are glad we chose this one b/c our baby was born big and so a lower lb rating would not have lasted us as long as this one has. Our son is currently 1 yr old and this has lasted us so far.  It still looks and feels in excellent condition! 

The only reason I don't give this a 5 STAR rating is b/c the material seems to induce sweating in our baby since the beginning.  I'm sure this is fairly common in baby car seats as they all seem to be made of the same material, but It would be great if the manufacturers would work on finding a more breathable fabric that is just as safe and comfortable.
