Chicco KeyFit Review

I did a lot of research before registering for a carseat.  I read a lot of reviews stating that the Chicco KeyFit 30 made a lot of babies really hot when they were riding in it, but I decided to get it anyway because it was rated the highest by Consumer Reports.  I'm so glad I decided to get it.  I love this car seat!  The infant inserts that come with it are great for providing a nice secure fit for a newborn, and we still use the head insert for my 9 month old daughter.  It creates a nice little cushion for her head, especially when she falls asleep in the car seat.  The straps are very easy to adjust, and I like how the base has a little level built in so you can made sure it's strapped in to the car properly.  We got the Extreme fabric, and I love how easy it is to clean.  It's easy to wipe off, and I've also run it through the washing machine a couple of times and it still looks brand new.  During the summer months I did notice my daughter felt a little warm after riding in the car seat for a while, but it was nothing too bad, and it didn't seem to bother her at all.  I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
