You get what you pay for. And that statement holds very true when it comes to the chicco infant seat. I did plenty of research when buying the carseat for our first baby and nothing compared. yes it was a tad more expensive but so worth it!! The cadillac of car seats! Ease of Installation The base hooks in so well and does not budge at all in my SUV or my husbands truck. Child's Comfort Has so much extra cushion and removable comfort pads that so many other infant seats do not offer. My daughter and son have both loved being in this seat. Support and Safety Safety was and is my number one concern and the chicco put all my concerns to rest. Everything is very easy to adjust to your growing baby so they fit snug and secure at any age. Ease of Use Snaps in and out of the car like a breeze!!! Design I love all the nice fabric and color choices chicco offers. I chose a green and gray pattern so it could be used for both of my children. Durability We now have our third child in this seat and it has held up better than I had ever expected! Especially since my boy spit up in it so much I was worried about the fabric being stained but it's not at all it just washes right out. Very easy to clean.

We have 6 kids and have been through several infant carriers. This is BY FAR our favorite. It is stylish, yet very safe and so, so easy to use! Taking the padding off for washing, adjusting the straps, moving the base....EVERYTHING is made to be simple for a regular parent to figure out without causing crazy frustration. I cannot say enough good things about this car seat. I only wish they made seats for toddlers as well!

Oh my goodness, I loved this carseat.  I actually bought the travel system which I don't think I would do again because the stroller is quite bulky, but I am convinced this is THE BEST infant carrier/carseat around...especially for the price!  It's super user friendly.  Installation, removal from the base, etc.  were always a breeze because they really thought of everything.  I have compared its ease-of-use to carriers that my friends and family have used and this one beats them all out easily. It is so incredibly easy to install (my car has the Latch System which makes it even easier).  I have removed and re-installed this carrier numerous times because I often went places with other people and it could be done so quickly and easily.  The carseat literally grows with your child.  We used ours from the time my son was born until he was almost 14 months old.  It fit him well and I didn't want to transition to another carseat because I was so in love with this one.  I would recommend this to anyone.  I never had one bit of trouble with it, it is so easy to use, they look so much better than most carseats on the market and are easy to clean.  Ease of Installation Every friend/family member that is having their first child gets a strong recommendation for this car seat from me. The ease of installation is incredible, I wish all car seats could be this quick. Durability I'm using it with my second child now and it still looks great and functions as if it's brand new. I love this seat!

This car seat was perfect for my son. From day one I could tell that the quality was good and it was made for a newborn and infant. The travel system is a great option so that you can carry your little one who is often sleeping in and out of the car.Once he hit 15 pounds I typically stopped carrying him around though because with the weight of my son plus the car seat the carrying handle would often make my arm sore.The stroller that goes with this travel system is very bulky but definitely worth the pain when your child is an infant. Once he could sit up on his own we opted for a smaller umbrella stroller. The colors that the keyfit come in are gender neutral and it is easy to clean. It was nice to buy the extra base for my husband's car so that either of us could pick him up from daycare. What a great idea and a great system. I would and have recommended this to all of our friends. Good job chicco!

I was given this carseat as a gift when I had my third child. I really like the chicco keyfit a lot. It has a lot of padding and cushion that many other carseats lack and seems very comforable without having to buy additional inserts. I like the way that the base of the carseat locks into my van without having to use the seatbelt and it is very easy to lock into and take out of the base. The material that the seat is made of is very easy to clean and does not stain easily...and its cute, too! The only problems that I have with this seat is that it does not lock on to the buggy at the supermarket like most other carseats do and it is more expensive than many other carseats on the market. Other than that, I have no complaints with this carseat. It has been great.

We did a lot of research before deciding on our first car seat for our son. Well after lots of searching and debating this one won, safety ratings were great! Colors were great, as soon as we bought the system, it came with a car seat and stroller we were in love. I must say the car seat is a bit large, it doesn't fit in the front part of carts, and if you dont have a larger backseat then I would recommend a smaller car seat. But besides that its extremely easy to install and looks wonderful, very comfortable, padded on the bum so little ones feel comfy riding in the car. My son LOVED riding in the car when he was an infant, first cold he had we would drive around for hours just so he could fall asleep and this car seat worked like a charm. If you are worried about safety, comfort and ease of installing this is the way to go for sure! I recommend this to all my friends who are pregnant and are searching for the car seat that works great for them. Plus I have the stroller, the stroller has height adjusters for the person pushing it, which is great since my husband is 6'1" and I am 5' 3" makes it a lot easier for either of us to push! Has a cup holder as well as a shader for the little one to stay out of the sun! Love both of these, and even though my son is too big for the car seat he still loves to sit in the stroller! :)

we bought this car seat for our third child and it has turned out to be the best car seat we have ever owned! It is a little on the heavy side but the seat is very safe for children and secures well to the base which secures well to the seat of the car. It is very easy to get the seat in and out of the base and the staps on the seat itself make for a very secure fit for your child. We got the stoller to go with the car seat and it slips in and out of the stoller just as easily as it does the car seat base. The design of the car seat is also great, we got the green and grey one to be more nuetral in case we had another child and it is a good looking color scheme. The car seat, base, and also the stroller are very durable and survived being placed in and out of the car for just over a year without any trouble at all and is still in as good of shape as the day we bought it. I would recommend this car seat to anyone who is in the market for one and is looking for one that will stand the test of time and one you can use with another child.

We love our Chicco KeyFit car seat.  The base was very easy to install.  The instruction manual walks you right through it, but it would be easy to figure out even without the manual.  We used the latch system, but using a seatbelt would be even easier.  The car seat snaps right into the base with no problem.  My husband couldn't believe that was all there was to it!  We like the Adventure color.  It is a nice sage green that isn't as bright as some of their other colors, so it is easier on the eyes.  The newborn inserts are great for when the baby is still small.  We took the bottom insert out pretty quickly because he was long, but he will use the head insert for a while.  It looks like it is pretty comfortable for him.  Our first complaint is that it is really heavy, much heavier than other seats of similar size.  Our other complaint is that he gets really hot in it, but I think most car seats are that way.  Overall, we are very satisfied with this car seat and highly recommend it to our friends.

We got this car seat for our daughter based on the saftey rateing and the consumer report rating and we couldnt have been happier. It was confortable, safe, easy to clean, and easy to install. I espechally loved that the base had a little compartment in it that was just the right size for a couple diapers and a container of wipes incase i forgot the diaper bag.
