I looked at this travel system when I was pregnant.  I did a lot of comaprisons and read a lot of reviews.  I recieved this as a gift at my baby shower.  I LOVE IT!!!  It can be a little heavy, but safetywise it  is great ( I don't use the latch system) and the stroller is… read full review »

This is a great looking and durable system. My only con is the fact that the carrier is soooo heavy. Once your baby reaches 2 months or so, you really start to feel the extra weight. It does not fit in a shopping cart, which makes shopping with baby in the 1st few months almost impossible. I do… read full review »

This is a nice travel system for the price.  It's not as expensive as the trendier brands and just a little higher than the run-of-the-mill strollers you see everywhere.  It folds easily and is lightweight.  It fits well into the trunk of my sedan.  The car seat is a breeze to install and adjust.  It's a little heavy to be used as a carrier, but I prefer a sling anyway.  I like the fabric choices - all mod and neutral.  The stroller is comfortable to push and has an adjustable handle, large storage basket, is able to recline fully for sleeping or diaper… read full review »

My wife and I are going to have our second child in about 3 months and our children will be just 18 months apart. My daughter used this car seat for the first 5 months of her life, not because she weighed more than the minimum but more because she no longer looked comfortable in the car seat, even with all the inserts removed. We like this solution much better than the comparable Graco MetroLite because of how safe the car seat is and how easy it is to install. We also compared it to the Peg Perego and liked it as it was lighter and a much better value for our money. — —… read full review »

When I was pregnant and shopping for baby gear, quality and safety were two of the top things I was looking for, especially in a product like this that my daughter would spend so much time in. Chicco has a reputation for both so their travel system was at the top of my list. — It is super easy to fold and unfold. I'm not the strongest person in the world and I have a fairly small trunk on my car, but I've never had a problem getting the stroller into or out of my car and it pops up quickly. I'm constantly running around, so that's important for me. The carrier/car seat has a… read full review »

Pros: This travel system is very safe, easy to use, easy to clean, and durable. Cons: It's expensive and heavy; the car seat is a bit long for compact cars and doesn't easily fit in all shopping carts; and the car seat/stroller seat material not as breathable as cotton. — — CAR SEAT: The Cortina car seat is the safest there is, though it is a bit long for our Honda Civic's back seat. It does fit in the center of the back seat, though, which is the safest location for a baby seat. The car is also the easiest to put into the car seat base, bar none, which leads to less back strain.… read full review »

We searched and searched, tested every travel system in just about every store.  This one stood out the most in style and ease of use but I was so hesitant on the price.   Well, nothing else compared to this one, so we went ahead and added it to our registry.  This travel system was by far one of the best baby products we had received.  The style is neutral, modern, and durable.  The stroller is so light and very easy to use.  You can use one hand to open the stroller without even having to bend down or anything else.  It releases that easy.  Yes,… read full review »

This is a good quality product.  We were having a hard time choosing a travel system and decided to go with this one because of positive reviews at other sites.  We have been using it for a month now and so far I'm fairly happy with it.  The car seat fabric is nice and neutral, and I like that it comes with a removable padded insert for newborns.  We were using a hand-me-down graco system at first and it didn't seem very cozy for my newborn and his head was slumping over a bit.  This one keeps him upright and he seems to very safe and secure in it.  The car seat… read full review »

This travel system is absolutely perfect.  We comparison shopped before making our final decision, and this stroller took the cake!  It's safe, easy to use, sturdy and stylish.  The carseat itself is perfect for newborns thanks to the cushion inserts, and it "grows" with the baby.  My son is 6 months old and has loved it since day 1...even on long road trips.  The base has the easiest installation into the car that I've seen yet, and it's rock-solid when the carseat is attached.  The quick release of the seat from the base makes for easy transition in and… read full review »

After months of looking around for the "perfect" stroller before our first daughter was born we finally decided on the Chicco Cortina Travel System. — Carseat: The Key Fit system made the car seat easy for me to lift in and out of both the stroller and the car. — Stroller: The stroller was lightweight enough for me to get in and out of the car by myself which was key. A few times we did use the bassinet feature which allowed our daughter to nap when she was little and we felt very secure with her in there. My only complaint is that the cup holder is not deep enough to hold a… read full review »

Overall, we enjoy this travel system.  It looks great, it's very sturdy and well-built.  — — Drawbacks - when the carseat is locked into the stroller, it is difficult (if not impossible) to access the storage area at the base of the stroller.  The stroller is bulky.  It collapses pretty easily (especially if you don't have baby on one hip), but it is on the heavy side and you need a pretty roomy trunk. — — Upside - lots of storage space and cup-holders make this a great stroller for shopping, walks to the park, and travel. — — I've… read full review »

I researched all brands and kinds of travel systems when i was pregnant and i found alot of people to be very happy with their chicco.  We purchased the green system and i love it.  The stroller is so smooth and the storage is a little hard to get to but if you use the reclining lever up you can then slide your packages underneath.  i have been very happy with the carseat.  we have the latch in our car and my husband was able to get the latch so tight the carseat base wont even budge.  i love this carseat and would recommend it to… read full review »

This carseat is HEAVY!  Even without the baby in it, the weight is much more than the other brands.  I'm a thin woman and with a 2 month old, it is already becoming inconvenient!  I drive an SUV and its hard to get him in and out.  The seat is easy for a man to operate however.  It is a very safe carseat so I am willing to compromise the weight for safety.  The style is very modern and fabric is easy to… read full review »

I love this product. We've been using it for about 9 months now. It's light weight, easy to use and has tons of great features. The adjustable canopy and handlebar are both livesavers. I recommend this product to all parents - it's worth the money! The carseat works great with the stroller and the base is easy to install. One of my favorite features about this product - you can open it one handed, while holding the baby in the other arm.… read full review »

I examined other brands of stroller systems at the store.  The plastic seems much studier in the chicco system than other brands.  This is also very easy to use and very easy to set up. The insert is divided into a head support and a lower body support. When my son outgrew the body support I was able to just remove that portion and continue using the head support. —… read full review »
