My wife and I are going to have our second child in about 3 months and our children will be just 18 months apart. My daughter used this car seat for the first 5 months of her life, not because she weighed more than the minimum but more because she no longer looked comfortable in the car seat, even with... review »

This carseat is HEAVY!  Even without the baby in it, the weight is much more than the other brands.  I'm a thin woman and with a 2 month old, it is already becoming inconvenient!  I drive an SUV and its hard to get him in and out.  The seat is easy for a man to operate however.  It is a very... review »

This is a nice travel system for the price.  It's not as expensive as the trendier brands and just a little higher than the run-of-the-mill strollers you see everywhere.  It folds easily and is lightweight.  It fits well into the trunk of my sedan.  The car seat is a breeze to install and adjust.  It's a little heavy to be used as a carrier, but I prefer a sling anyway.  I like the fabric choices - all mod and neutral.  The stroller is comfortable to push and has an adjustable handle, large storage basket, is able to recline fully for sleeping or diaper changes, and has ample cup/storage... review »

I looked at this travel system when I was pregnant.  I did a lot of comaprisons and read a lot of reviews.  I recieved this as a gift at my baby shower.  I LOVE IT!!!  It can be a little heavy, but safetywise it  is great ( I don't use the latch system) and the stroller is easy to open with one hand.  I traveled alone with my son when he was 4 mos old.  I held the carrier in one hand opened the stroller with the other and put the carrier in and was off while other people with two free hand stood at the door of the plane and struggled with theirs.  I think that this travel system is well... review »

When I was still pregnant, I did a lot of research on travel systems because I wanted an infant car seat and stroller in one that could be used for a few years without my daughter outgrowing the entire system. There were lots of systems that were recommended, but in my childbirth class, it was an overwhelming preference toward the Chicco Cortina. I followed their advice and got the Chicco and I am still happy with it today, with my daughter being almost 17 months old. I used the infant car seat for a little over a year until she reached the weight limit. I loved it because my daughter was slightly...

I have nannied for a large number of families, so in turn I have been able to "test out" many travel systems. From Graco to Maclaren and all that's inbetween. This Chicco system is by far the best I have ever used! When a friend of mine had a baby last year, she purchased this system after extensive research. It is rated highly in safety, and is able to be used up to 30 pounds!

The adjustable handle makes it possible to be comfortable in any situation, or could also be ideal for parents who vary greatly in height. The infant seat can get to be heavy towards the end of the 30 pound mark, but...

I absolutely love this stroller! I have a 4 month old daughter and we have used it since she was born. It's light weight, easy to compact and unfold, and easily cleaned. I would recommend this to anyone! One of the only con's is that the fabric they used causes her to get very sweaty even in the winter. It also doesn't fit in most shopping carts. It is more expensive than some of the other strollers like Graco and Evenflow, but I found that they make up for it in quality.

I love this product. We've been using it for about 9 months now. It's light weight, easy to use and has tons of great features. The adjustable canopy and handlebar are both livesavers. I recommend this product to all parents - it's worth the money! The carseat works great with the stroller and the base is easy to install. One of my favorite features about this product - you can open it one handed, while holding the baby in the other arm.

When I was pregnant and shopping for baby gear, quality and safety were two of the top things I was looking for, especially in a product like this that my daughter would spend so much time in. Chicco has a reputation for both so their travel system was at the top of my list.

It is super easy to fold and unfold. I'm not the strongest person in the world and I have a fairly small trunk on my car, but I've never had a problem getting the stroller into or out of my car and it pops up quickly. I'm constantly running around, so that's important for me. The carrier/car seat has a five-point harness, which...

Pros: This travel system is very safe, easy to use, easy to clean, and durable. Cons: It's expensive and heavy; the car seat is a bit long for compact cars and doesn't easily fit in all shopping carts; and the car seat/stroller seat material not as breathable as cotton.

CAR SEAT: The Cortina car seat is the safest there is, though it is a bit long for our Honda Civic's back seat. It does fit in the center of the back seat, though, which is the safest location for a baby seat. The car is also the easiest to put into the car seat base, bar none, which leads to less back strain. It has a storage compartment...

We LOVE the Chicco Cortina travel system.  I bought it becuase both my husband and I are tall (I'm 5'9") so I wanted a stroller where I wouldn't have to bend forward to push it.  That said,  sometimes a friend will push the stroller and can adjust the handle height easily for someone shorter.  With 1 hand on the  handle, your other hand releases the car seat, and it's easy to transfer in and out of the car and stroller.

The car seat base is easy to install and uses the LATCH system.  If your car doesn't have LATCH there's a clip for using a regular seat belt.

THe infant seat clicks in and out...

We searched and searched, tested every travel system in just about every store.  This one stood out the most in style and ease of use but I was so hesitant on the price.   Well, nothing else compared to this one, so we went ahead and added it to our registry.  This travel system was by far one of the best baby products we had received.  The style is neutral, modern, and durable.  The stroller is so light and very easy to use.  You can use one hand to open the stroller without even having to bend down or anything else.  It releases that easy.  Yes, the stroller is big, but aren't they all? ... review »

This is a good quality product.  We were having a hard time choosing a travel system and decided to go with this one because of positive reviews at other sites.  We have been using it for a month now and so far I'm fairly happy with it.  The car seat fabric is nice and neutral, and I like that it comes with a removable padded insert for newborns.  We were using a hand-me-down graco system at first and it didn't seem very cozy for my newborn and his head was slumping over a bit.  This one keeps him upright and he seems to very safe and secure in it.  The car seat base is easy to install and...

As an experienced parent I know that a good stroller and car seat are really important. I purchased this car seat and stroller system  ( Chicco Cortina ) after I had purchased a system from baby trend which I ended up returning.  The stroller is extemely light weight and durable, it folds easy, the seat is comfy for baby and the ride is smooth, it has shocks which most strollers dont ususally come with. It can turn on a dime with an adjustable handle for comfort. Great for parents of varying heights.

The car seat itself is a little on the heavy side but you can tell that is because it is well...

The Chicco Travel System I received for my baby shower was the best present ever! I loved it and still do, only very little bad things to say. Overall for the pricy cost it's a good buy. The thing that made it different from the others was the weigh, very light! I can close it quickly with one hand and a knee (if I am holding my baby) and lift it with only one hand only to put it in the trunk of the car... now that's cool! Also I like that many parts come off for easy washer cleaning and the colors are nice too, I have the green and grey one. It has also a tray that comes off that it a nice plus...
