Chicco C6 Umbrella Stroller Review Summary

Sold as an umbrella stroller, The Chicco C6 Baby Stroller is described by reviewers as “higher end than a run of the mill umbrella stroller.” What does that mean? Being lightweight and easy to maneuver, the Chicco C6 Umbrella Stroller also has a few comforts not often found on an umbrella stroller. One mom states "it also has great turning ability and drives better than an average umbrella stroller." A decent storage area and added comfort for baby makes the Chicco C6 Stroller more like a standard baby stroller. Parents do mention it is a little difficult for taller adults to comfortably push the Chicco C6. Coming in a variety of bright and fashionable colors, the Chicco C6 Umbrella Stroller is worth the extra investment for the “well made” quality you will receive. Check out what parents are talking about in other lightweight, umbrella stroller reviews to see if the Chicco is right for you.

I would highly recommend this stroller because it is a great value for the money. Yes, it is a little higher end than a run of the mill umbrella stroller but to me comfort for my little one is worth it! When we are out for the day I need to know she will sit in the stroller comfortably that, in turn, keeps her happy and then of course when the child is happy everyone is happy! It is lightweight but yet still has a storage bag underneath and has straps to safely secure your little one in. It also has  great turning ability and drives better than an average umbrella stroller. Great Lightweight Stroller!... read full review »

I said I would never get a big, clunky stroller, so I went for this lightweight model by Chicco.  I absolutely love it, and I recommend it to all of my friends!  My daughter seems very comfortable, and she loves that she can look around without an obnoxious stroller in her way!

What a very cute colorful and compact stroller!

It is very lightweight which makes it great for taking to the beach, yard sale-ing, to summer events and other activities. It also works just as well for a trip to the mall.

This fabulous stroller screams "fabulous parent!" It's great!

Isn't it funny that the bigger our kids get the smaller the stroller gets? When I was ready to reclaim the trunk of my car, my friend gave me an old-style umbrella stroller--the kind you can get for free with purchase at Babies R Us. After a few days trying to push the thing, I threw out my back and my wrists as well. My chiropractor told me not to do that again. But I still needed a stroller. My friend had a Chicco C6 Umbrella Stroller and couldn't say enough good things about it. I was a little wary of the price--$60 for an umbrella stroller seemed steep. But once I had it I completely understood....

I love that this stroller is very lightweight, so I can usually unpack it while holding my little one also. It's very easy to move around when shopping and very easy to fold up.

The only downer I have with it, is the netting underneath isn't very large, so it can't hold alot of the things you need to take with you. Plus, the visor for the baby, isn't very large and doesn't prevent getting the sun out of their eyes.

I fixed this by buying an extended sun visor off ebay and by buying a diaper bag that hooks right on to the handles, so it gives me more space

My fiancee and I recently purchased one of these umbrella strollers for our new daughter. I personally love it. We go on walks every day around the neighborhood and she seems to enjoy it. It's lightweight, it steers well, it's easy to put away, and it's comfortable. I would definately reccommend this to any of my friends or family as a 2nd stroller, or even as an only stroller. The price could have been a little more reasonable, however I am a mom who is willing to pay a bit extra for what I feel is a safe product for my children.

i received this stroller at my shower. i knew i wanted an umbrella stroller bc the travel systems become too cumbersome at some point. so i picked out this one. it has a removable canopy and the best part? a "cage" underneath to put stuff in (ie, diaper bag lodge!). most umbrella strollers dont have that, and i HATE it. this is the best.....

I got this stoller so that I didn't have to lug around the one that came with my travel system.  It is great except if it gets dirty.  I had to take a portable carpet cleaner to it once juice got on it.  The Chicco C6 is durable and you can put just about any cup holder on it.

Amazing stroller, can carry it while carrying my 20 lbs daughter and go up to a third floor walk up. The best is that it can hold my daughter until she is 3 or 4 yrs old.

My friend has this sroller and it was not very easy to walk with. I kept kicking the back of it on the bottom with my feet. I do not like the chicco c6. The good thing about it is that it has a net to carry stuff underneath it, which most umbrella srollers don't. I also do not like the handles, they are not very comfertable to hold on to while walking. The seat belt also is a little overkill if you ask me.
