A fun weekend trip

budget conscious traveler, family traveler, loving this product, cost-conscious, watching chick flicks, watching with kids, an infrequent movie goer, waiting for the DVD

Pros

    great food like the pizza, Outdoor beauty of the lake front, safe, lots of cultural experiences, friendly people everywhere, a lot to do, felt clean and friendly

Cons
    traffic, hotels etc. expensive

We spent 2 days in Chicago in October 2007. We stayed in Lombard & took the train into Chicago both days. The hotels are cheaper & the train wasn't expensive, plus we didn't have to try & find a place to park. There's a lot to see & do. We walked everywhere. It was also easy to get around the city.
