Chicago Education Project - Schaumberg, IL —
My son spent the summer at the Chicago Education Project (CEP). It is a small school for special needs children and run by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. They have a sensory area, room with a swing and trampoline and private therapy rooms in addition to the main classroom. The changes in him have been unbelievable. The staff is amazing and so well-trained. My son started the program with dangerous behaviors including head banging and other behaviors including pinching, scratching, dropping to the floor and not paying attention. His head banging was rapidly reduced. HIs attention span has increased and his self help skills are improving. He is a much happier child now. They also help train in the home like supernanny and have helped us set limits within our household. If you are looking for a behavior based program that takes lots of data, check out CEP.
