Surfing the HD channel offerings last night, I found the movie Chicago. A musical released to great fanfare (and the winner of the Best Movie Academy Award) in 2002, Chicago is based on a Bob Fosse stage musical, which is in turn based on a short story from the 1920s.

The look of the film is fantastic, capturing the roaring '20's and vaudeville with amazing style. The choreography is fantastic
I saw Chicago at the movies at the age of 13 and fell instantly in love with it. I dont know who's performance captivates the screen more? Renee's? Catherine? or Richard? These actors show that they can act, sing and dance in the musical full of beauty. From its brilliant script, to its captivating make up and costumes, These actors make you want to go to New York and watch the Musical on Broadway to simply compare.
