My sister in law gave it to me about 10 years ago and she had had it for several years before that. And it still works fine. I don't use it all the time since my hair is naturally straight but I use it sometimes and when I do I just love the way my hair looks.

This product works great for smoothing out frizzy hair. Just be cautious of your fine hairs around your face, due to heat it can sometime burn them and damage them.

I've owned a lot of straighteners and this is this last one I bought. I love it. It heats up fast, so I'm able to do my hair quickly if I'm in a hurry. I can use it as a curler, which I normally do. Hands down, best straightener I've purchased.

I have natural wavy, frizzy damaged hair. I love my Chi and it's the only flat iron I've purchased that can give me the results I am looking for. My hair always comes out smooth, shiny and lasts me until the next time I wash my hair. The only con is; it's wearing out, which means it's not as hot as it used to be and I have to go over the section a couple extra times to get my desired results. I will need a new one in the near future and I most likely will buy a Chi.

I've had my Chi hair straightener for about 8 years now and it still runs GREAT! I use it about once a week and it leaves my hair smooth and frizz free. Right now the straightener gives a squeeky noise but I'm sure its due to the years of use from my sister and I. The straightener protects my hair due to the plates. It works great when making curls as well. I wish they had this a bigger size since I have a lot of hair, long and thick and can be time consuming to straighten with a smaller one but overall works great. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again.

This by far is my iron of choice. I have bought other brands in the past and the Chi is the one that has last me the longest. I am going on almost 5 years with my Iron and still works great. It get pretty hot which is good for my frizzy puffy hair that needs the heat. I love the long cord that it has. I definitely recommend this iron since its been very good for me.
