The Chi iron was an expensive purchase ($115) when I bought it. But for a product that I've used at least 5 times a week for the past two years, it was worth it. I always used to straighten my hair with a blow dryer and round brush, but it never looked as sleek and soft as I wanted it to look. I tried all different kinds of flat irons (the maxiglide, and mostly just inexpensive flat irons from shopping centers, but they never gave me the look I wanted.) The Chi iron straightens your hair fast and easy. My hair comes down to about the middle of my back, and it takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to get my hair straight and smooth. Also, your straight hair can last for days (of course only if you don't wash it), with quick 5 minute touch ups each day. Basically, I love the product, and it's probably the best purchase I have ever made as far as hair products.

I agree! My Chi iron works like a charm... but that $100+ price hurt a little. I guess we pay for what we get right. Nice review!!
