The Chi Ceramic Flat Iron works wonders for my thick, curly, very often frizzy hair. I do not have much time in the mornings to get ready due to having two young children in school and a two year old. It does not take long to get hot, which is a huge help in the morning. I love that when I’m in a hurry I can just straighten my hair in thick sections and know that it will be straight and not frizzy when I’m done. The only thing I do not like is that the iron top (where it sets on the counter)/back of the plates get very hot. I’ve burned myself several times due to touching it when picking it up or sitting it down and even when it slips out of my grasp. That is the one thing I would change about the product, otherwise it is wonderful. I also love the reset button because you never know what may happen. I bought this particular one because it is the one my stylist uses on my hair and when I asked her what kind would be best for my hair this is the one she said. I am really glad that I bought this one instead of a cheap one from Wal-mart as I have heard horrible things about those. My only worry is that I can use it too much and burn my hair, but according to my stylist that will not happen, not as long as I use something on my hair to protect it, which I do.
