Out of all the beauty products and accessories I own, the Chi hair straightener is by far my favorite. I have had mine for about 5 years and it is still working as well as the first time. The ceramic plates heat up so quickly and make your hair very smooth and sleek. I have thick, wavy hair that the Chi tackles quickly and easily. With the Chi, it takes half the time to straighten my hair than it did with other, cheaper varieties. I started using this product about one year ago.  It was very expensive and I was told at the hair salon that it would work wonders straightening my hair.  I tried so diligently to hold it steady, make it hot and slowly drag it through my hair.  It was very difficult.  I still can't get the same results that I recieve in the hair salon.  Sometimes it works if I do it for a very long time, but I just don't get that sleek look.  I think that it is way too expensive to not recieve the look in the salons.  I advise to go for a cheaper rendition first and see how… read full review »

Not only does this flat iron straighten the most stubborn locks, but when used with their products (I use the hair oil/serum before I straighten - a little goes a LONG way) it makes even dull hair look shiny and smooth.  It is a pricey little item, but WELL worth it!  I have used lots of different flat irons (totaling close to what I spent on this one flat iron) and this is far superior to other department store brands.  My hair stylist uses this in her salon and that is what prompted me to finally stop trying to be cheap and start being fabulous! … read full review »

I was picking up some groceries at my local grocery store, HEB, when I stumbled upon the hair product aisle. Much to my surprise was a CHI! I could not believe it. I was skeptical about such an expensive product at first. I am used to Conair and other lower end brands. However, when I splurged on the CHI I could definately feelt he difference.
