Chevy S10 Pickup 2WD - 1997 Reviews

I HAVE OWNED THIS TRUCK SINCE THE DAY IT WAS NEW, AND LOVED EVERY DAY OF IT,i chose the 4.3 L V6 and 5 speed trany, and let me tell ya it has some balls,i have beaten the crap out of this little truck for 10 years now and it only has 68000 miles on it and 10 sets of rear tires(lol) ,my wife tells me i need to grow up but its to much fun smokin the tire off and slamin the gears,plus i can haul stuff in it for her when i need to,and pull my boat any where i want

the bad part of the truck is the gas mileage 19 on the hiway . not much better then a full size pickup.

I have had this truck since, 1998 (the GMC Sonoma-extended cab), basically the same truck. 198,000 miles on it now; had 300 when I bought it and it still run's great.  I usually get around 23-25 miles per gallon.  I would recommend this truck to others, I plan on driving it until the body rust's off the frame, and then I will try to find another one.
