I got my 2002 Trailblazer for high school graduation in 2004. I love the look of this vehicle and loooove the way it drives. It feels much more stable than most SUVs. Gas milage was okay for an SUV but by no means great. And it's big without being one of those giants you see soccer moms struggling to manuver through the Publix parking lot. Everything was great and I thought this car would last me into my 30s until 2007. First I had these weird electrical problems when i unlocked the car (even when I unlocked manually). The locks would jam-up, the windows wouldn't roll down, and the side mirrors moved themselves in and down. I had to turn the key and hold it turned as I opened the door to get into the car. And that stupid clicking noise of the locks and the mirrors would go on for 30 min after I left the car. I finally got the money to get it fixed. A couple months later I started having problems with starting the car; the battery was dead. I took her into the shop and they said there was nothing wrong with the battery. Something was draining my battery; I don't know what. Related to the previous problem? Either way, I was furious to have all these problems after only 5 years. I'll never buy another Chevy. On the safety side, I totaled it and walked away without a scratch.
