Quiet ride. Gas mileage is almost 20mpg  avg, local and distance! The Bose sound system is the best. The dvd player and cordless headphones are easy to control and simply enjoy. The spare tire is well tucked in under the truck, and yes its a full sized tire, not a donut. Drove it 1300 miles over 2 days to visit family. what an experience sitting high and above other cars and nost suvs.. This is our 2nd 1, ran the first to the max, approx. 10 years. As a mother of two toddlers, and wife to a Marine, my Tahoe gets a work out.  It has far exceeded my expectations.  I love that the engine switches from V6 to V8 for fuel conservation.  The third row seating is easily removed adding storage space.  In the middle row seats, the kids have plenty of room all the way around.  This vehicle far outpassed my Durango!  Love it.  I must add that Onstar is a welcomed… read full review »
