Chevrolet Silverado - 2008 Review

Spent months' worth of weekends on car lots looking for our next vehicle (too picky?).  Chevrolet hooked me with their new color for '08, Dark Cherry Metallic--added to the Texas Edition with all upgrade options included, and being available with the large Vortec engine--2nd one for us--had the dealership marking this truck "sold" within an hour.

Rides like a top of the line luxury vehicle, pulls like a champ, looks great--5 months later people still compliment the looks of this truck!  Sound system is terrific for an original factory install, crew cab very roomy, mileage o.k. for this size engine, daily drive is comfortable and pleasant, traveling in it is a dream! Added GMC options of XM and Onstar built in round out the great drive experience.

For this truck, think top of the line Suburban SUV, just missing the last bit of roof.

Only drawback after a few months of owning---the Dark Cherry Metallic exterior sold me, but you have to want to detail your truck a lot in this color--at least in Dallas--this color is a high-maintenance one....
