I bought my Malibu Maxx used in 2004.  I had wrecked my previous car and needed a car in a hurry.  I fell in love with the look of the Malibu Maxx.  It has an expensive car look. II loved the fact that it had the roof that opens in the front and a glass roof over the passengers.  I also like that the glass roof in the back has a screen so that you can block out light if you want too. The inside is great also.  Mine came equipted with the multiple CD player.  I like the fact that is shows me the temp and gives me a warning for possible ice on the roads. It has heat in the front and back.  It also has a DVD player with wireless head phones so the the kids can watch a movie and the front seat passengers can listen to the radio or CDs.  It also has the capability for the front passengers to listen to the DVD.  The break and gas pedels can be adjust and the seat can be lowered or raised if needed.  Everything is within reach of the driver.  The back seat has plenty of leg room.  I have a son that is 6 feet tall and he has plenty of leg room. And the trunk room!!  Oh my..there is enough room to pack a big cooler, my 17 yo's 3 bags, my 15yo"s 2 bags and mine and my husband's 1 bag. lol  The Malibu Maxx is the modern station wagon.

After I fell in love with the looks I fell in love with the price!  I got a really good deal on my Malibu Maxx.  Since it was bought new and then returned because the original owner lost their job, I got my car for a great price. (It didn't hurt that my dad and boyfriend did a lot of business with the dealership either.)  The Malibu Maxx also holds its value.  It is still worth more than I owe on it.  The kelly Blue Book lists its value at around 10,000, which means it has only depriciated about a thousand a year.

This is one of those cars that when you replace it you want the same thing again.  When it comes time to get another car I will find another Malibu Maxx.  I hate that Chevy stopped making them.
