Chevrolet Impala - 2006 Review Summary
The
2006 Chevrolet Impala is rated as a dependable and safe sedan by
Viewpoint reviewers. What else do our reviews love about the
Chevrolet Impala? It gets decent gas mileage at 21 mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway with conventional fuel. The
Chevrolet Impala 2006 model is also a flexible fuel vehicle and accepts the ethanol blend, E85. Only one reviewer expressed a disappointment in the interior being
boring and a lack of lumbar support in seating. Blind spots were mentioned by another
VP reviewer but overall, the
Impala came out as being a car that our
reviewers would purchase again. Check out what our
reviewers have to say about the
2007 Chevrolet Impala.

I am a truck person at heart so I wasn't immediately in love. — After my first long distance ride I realized that the comfort of the driver's seat alone was worth the cost of the vehicle. It was one of the selling points but has turned into the most important factor in daily use. — On Star, while not a selling point for me, does add ease and security to the car. As a single girl I like the option of getting help anywhere, anytime. I have only used it once in two years but it was a great assistance. Returning from a busines trip out of town I found my…

We purchased our Impala in September of 2007 and we really enjoy it. It offers luxury car features with an affordable price tag! I love the black leather in ours, it's so sleek! The gas mileage is awesome too - we average about 27 mpg on the highway which is nice considering you feel like you're in a large, comfy, and safe vehicle. The heated seats have been a great plus this winter too! The only two negatives I can comment on is that the passenger front seat rides a little higher and stiffer than the driver's side and there is a slight shimmy in the steering…

I am married and have two grown boys that are over 6' tall. They can both sit in the back seat comfortably without their knees into their chins. The trunk space is wonderful when I go to the local Sam's Club that I can fit everything into the trunk. There is also a lot of leg room in the front seat for the driver and the passenger. I would highly recommend this car especially on the fuel efficiency. I drove over 650 miles on one tank of gas when I drove from Tennessee to Michigan. We figured it to get 36 miles to a gallon on the highway. Kudos to Chey for making such a great…

Recently purchased a used 2006 Chevy Impala. Great car. Good gas milage. Took a trip from northeastern IL to eastern TN (over 500 miles) on 1 and 1/4 tank of gas. Great family car with amazing trunk space. Room for stroller grocceries and more! Only negative thing is that the seats can be a little uncomfortable at first. Takes some getting used to because they are designed for lumbar…

I bought this car a couple month ago and it is really great. My only complaint is that the auto start doesn't warm the inside of the car. It just warms the engine. The other weird thing is that the car won't put heat out if you are parked. It waits until the car is actually moving for it to put out warm air. What an odd…

I bought this car in 2005 brand new and I love it. It rides great, gets good gas mileage and is roomy enough for a family. I highly reccomend this car to everyone who is interested in getting around in style and affordability. I am a Chevy guy but even if I wasn't I would still love this car, I am a bigger guy and it is extremely roomy and…

This is probably one of the best rides I've ever driven. I can't say enough good things about this car. Very comfortable. We drove From S.E. Texas to Maine (36 hours of driving) with 4 adults and a toddler, and was much more comfortable than any vehicle we have made that journey…
